>In the end, we really were Sound! Euphonium
ASUKA gets a confession of love
The jew was right, Usaka is best girl
As expected from assblated hetfags
Why are so many fags complaining about a comfy epilogue?
I will marry this clarinet.
This looks like the final version of that draft of Kumiko with the hairpin
In the end, it was just another trash generic school band anime
Reina deserved it. After she started avoiding Kumiko their relationship never recovered.
>Crunchyroll even knows Asuka won the Kumiko owl
>mfw Shuuichi fags
Almost feel bad for them at this point.
I stayed in Kyoto so I was a little late, but I saw the last round successfully. It was a nostalgic song that the third grader played. When I first announced animation, I watched the animation repeatedly, so it became a very memorable song. What graduation ceremony is doing something a little strange. I remembered when I was a student.
> ED was also wonderful. If you write impressions like this, it makes me feel deeply remembering something various. Publishing one volume of Eupho, decided to animation ... .... It is only a few years, but really various things happened. I support many people, I think that I am truly a lucky person. Everything is appreciated.
> Effort is rewarded, although it is not necessarily the shape that the person himself desires. That is the rule we have consistently decided to write the Eupho series. There are dramas in schools other than North Uji High School, and all the members work hard. Whatever its result, I think that I can get something that I can cherish for the rest of my life
New MCs violinists
One from Seijo Midori's admirer. She's like Yuko but skilled.
Another violinist, Taki's foster brother. He is stoic but has a crush on Reina.
Kumiko with Mamiko length hair
>You'll never jumble Kumiko's fluff
Why even exist?
And you know that KumiShoe is so shit, KyoAni killed it in the end with Asuka? Please keep crying, hetfag. Your headcanon is dead.
>mfw she gets impeached because all the first years hate her and Natsuki takes the presidency
>Kumiko with Mamiko length hair
she loses the perfect fluff?
Reminder that this is the only couple that matters.
>le asuka meme
nothing even happened between them what the fuck are you saying
It's plenty obvious this is /u/ saving face or something. Precious Kumirei got fucking murdered so you're latching onto anything
>when the bait-er becomes the bait-ed
don't mind me, just reposting what i did at the start
>watched two seasons of this shit
>octopus girl and autistic trumpet never kissed once, not even a peck
She doesn't feel anything. She was oblivious about the hairpin and when Asuka asked for her feelings she answered with disgust. She even thought he was spreading rumors about them.
>Finally, after all these years, Sound Euphonium!
WAS IT A JOJO REFERENCE
I'm pretty sure this applies to all of /a/.
These hetfags ruined the show.
>Becomes a little girl for Kumiko's love
TRULY /OUR GUY/
Goto summarizes my thoughts on Ayano Takeda
They were sleeping in the same room in the nationals.
Sapphire knows that Shuichi bought something for Kumiko.
Kumiko and Shuichi talked for god knows how long and could've been seen by anyone.
Sapphire is quick to pick up on things.
It's not hard to figure out.
Kumiko and Reina are both bi. The
>muh they're lesbians
meme is what ruined these threads. If people just saw the truth from the start there be no issue. Not everyone can be as smart as me though.
This is what yurifags actually believe.
Shitty source material aside, KyoAni should be blamed more forthis shitshow.
Why did they depict the characters in the show to be KumiShuu shippers and release only KumiRei art? KyoAni's been fucking with us for two goddamned seasons.
Wait. Disregarding all these cancerous ship arguing.
How did the story end in the source material?
>ywn have this cute thicc witch in your life.
Just kill me already.
We Lain noa.
>made her cry like a little bitch in S1
>she's thanking him by the end of S2
How does he do it?
I'm still crying.
Also, I seriously wasn't expecting the KumiAsu despite it being my choice of poison. That was cute as fuck.
She can do what she wants, but it won't really matter unless GodAni adapts it
So it seems that Asuka hangs out with Aoi the most outside of Haruka and Kaori. You wouldn't think that Asuka would want to hang out with Aoi since she dropped out of band so early and Aoi had some underlying contempt for Asuka.
You're supposed to say "BRAVO ISHIHARA"
As he's the director, I mean, if you want to get your shitty bait memes right.
Kumiko is just the cutest, thickest, bestest girl in literally all anime ever.
I can't think of a single better female character. Its impossible now.
Because they know Kumiko is a filthy dyke and want her to fit in with society so encourage her to get with a man in hopes that she won't be made fun of by society for deviating from social norms
This is a japanese anime not some western comic book. Yuri pairings are normal in japanese anime it has nothing to do with that stupid agenda.
That was such a cute way to end it. I'm satisfied.
I know season 2 was different from the source material. But in terms of the spirit of the serious they don't contradict each other.
And I've watched the anime at least ten times.
All in all I think the only thing I didn't like about this anime was the fact that they pushed Hazuki and Midori as main characters when in reality they're fucking irrelevant.
Kumiko, Reina, Asuka and Shuichi are the real MCs of this anime.
>Prove me wrong.
You also can't prove your statement right.
You do however sound incredibly bothered by people you don't like, which might be what's causing you to think their working with some ulterior motive. If you were to ask me, I don't like the people dying to ad nauseum post "YURE BTFO" and think they've brought these threads down much more than the yurifags. But even I think it's silly to say that they're working behind some kind of political agenda. Even though it's possible some of them (along with an increasing amount of /a/) do frequent /pol/.
Is being called homophobic political?
If I called you an idiot, what affiliation would you then assume I had?
While this episode was anti-climatic in some ways, I didn't mind it, usually these type of final episodes try to go for the 'life continues' route, but it usually only works when the characters actually feel human so it's not hard to imagine them living their lives outside of the screen. In Hibike's case this isn't an issue since its characterization and development has been some of the best not only in the medium but storytelling in general.
If shipping kumirei were just about liking them as a pairing then they wouldn't foam at the mouth every time Kumiko and Shuuichi interact. It's more about sticking it to muh heternormativity for them.
In the novels he is a main character, it's not my fault that kyoani Stalin'd him and removed most of his development in the anime.
FFS Shuichi is barely a character and yet the majority of the discussion in these threads is centered around him and the characters I already mentioned.
the fagotts are transfered students or something?
>then they wouldn't foam at the mouth every time Kumiko and Shuuichi interact.
Do they really? If I remember correctly, they were quite fine with almost every scene the two shared in the first half of the series, as were they fine with the fist bump. Both of those things for obvious reasons. You're also exaggerating their reaction in an attempt to make that side seem like the unruly ones, but whatever.
>It's more about sticking it to muh heternormativity for them.
What are you even talking about? Do you even know what heteronormativity means?
I'm not sure what to think of this season. I can't tell if it was worse, better, or around the same quality as the first season.
From the start it was full of pointless drama that ultimately went nowhere. The mizori/nozomi garbage straight from the beginning was so terrible. While the last season at least gave us some upbeat band segments in the first half and then delved into melodrama in the second half, this did the opposite. I think that a bad ending (like season one's) is worse for an overall product, but the beginning of season 2 was just so bad that I can't forget about it.
season 2 is a 5/10 at best. Maybe a 4/10 if we're being realistic though.
Everyone was more chill in season 1. It's season 2 when people began to show their true colors.
>What are you even talking about? Do you even know what heteronormativity means?
Yes. It means ships following the conventions of what is traditionally applied to heterosexual relationships in society. Although many people use it toward actual heterosexual relationships too.
>lmfao anon s2 is 10/10 and s1 is 10/10
Shuichi and Reinafags blown the fuck out.
I always knew it, from day 1. Every scene with the two together made it more obvious yet I contained my autism unlike the local peasants. Now I can finally release that autism though, truly the OTP of the show.
I really expected something more than that for the ending. I mean, anime endings often feel like they're just going through the motions if they have no more surprises to offer, but this ending felt like it had no value whatsoever to me. The Asuka/Kumiko ending had to happen that way, with Kumiko seeking her out to have an emotional goodbye and Asuka hoping to avoid it, it can't be helped, I just wish the rest of the episode gave us something to chew on.
I don't care about shipping all that much. Lately I've been arguing in these threads that I'd at least wish the show had been more balanced with what it was doing. For the way it ended up, the Reina scenes in S1 shouldn't have been quite so overblown, and Shoe should have had more scenes in S2. It's no surprise Hibike discussion has so often descended into chaos.
But even so I feel there should have been something more to this episode. It should have been extended like the first episode of S2. It was sorely lacking any sort of reflection from Reina on her situation with Taki. It was also lacking any scenes with Kumiko and Reina reflecting on events generally. Their dialogues have been the most interesting in the show, it's weird they didn't indulge in that for the finale. They shared one brief scene that didn't have much to it, and Reina appearing at the end doesn't even count as a scene featuring her in my opinion.
The scene when Hazuki and Midori were pestering Kumiko about Shoe was odd. When Asuka and Aoi turned up, he just sort of disappeared. What happened there?
I liked when the 3rd years played the jazz tune from the very first PV. That was neat.
I get the symbolism of the 1st and 2nd years playing the song they've played over and over and over throughout the show to the 3rd years, I get it, but that doesn't mean I particularly want to hear it again, much less as a clip show. What a waste of time that was.
The yuri fags are the ones with a political agenda, not necessarily the animators.
I don't think there's any evidence that KyoAni has a particular agenda with their shows, but it's clear that the yuri fags are trying to normalize morally degenerate behavior by celebrating sexual deviancy.
all that skill
List of KumiShuu shippers within the show:

List of KumiRei shippers within the show:
Whenever you see a scene like this, don't you ever stop to think:
>Wait, if that's youth, then why am I an adult virgin? Damn I'm fucking pathetic
>If they were real they'd call me a creepy ugly nerd if I ever uttered a line to them.
>no nationals performance
>no graduation performance
>all the unnecessary baiting
>DRAMA all over the place
>these pathetic threads
What a mess of a season. I'm glad it's over.
Although I hate what you are saying, it is incredibly annoying how tumblr thinks if you don't automatically ship every homo pairing you're a homophobe. Just because I prefer the straight ship on this particular show doesn't mean I hate gay people, doesn't make me straight (I'm not), doesn't mean I've never shipped gay ships before (I have), and it doesn't make me a fucking homophobe.
imagine being knuckles and having your own harem lads
Maybe she's embarrassed that she had to ask that question.
I think the real question though is how did Kumiko not piece together that they would already know about the hairpin when Shoe straight up told her that Midori helped him?
>Although I hate what you are saying, it is incredibly annoying how tumblr thinks if you don't automatically ship every homo pairing you're a homophobe.
However, it's a little unrelated since no one here is guilty of doing that and >>151524911 has a point.
>PV music starts playing
>my fucking face
Objectively speaking ,S1 is a 8/10 and
S2 is a 7/10 being gentle with it
it wasn't bad enough to give a 6 but neither deserves a 7.
Trying to give a point to this serie, it's a must-see if someone likes realistics slice of life and drama, in that part somehow didn't failed
>not rewatching Keion every year
>This is the band after the 3rd years have left
How fucked are they now?
>KumiShuu/ReiTakifag this triggered
>More Eupho without Asuka.
Anon are you CRAZY.
How do >we stop Mikino?
I thought there was way too much recap stuff.
WAY too much. Not a good finale imo, but I get that it's a epilogue so it makes sense.
Quality threads happen when people engage in quality discussion. The only think stopping you from having a quality discussion is your choosing to instead complain about the lack of quality discussion.
Correlation is not causation. A lot of the most cancerous kumirei shippers are admittedly probably also gay, and probably like 16, but they’re not shipping it because of an agenda, the agenda is adjacent by nature of just being gay. The personal is political as long as it runs at all contrary to the majority.
Well guys now that it's over. Let's settle this for once and all.
> Who is best girl?
>they didn't show the fagotts hugging each other
Still mad ;_;
Because one ship is based on shallow trope pandering for horny virgins and the other is based on genuine character growth and a natural relationship between compatible people.
I thought there'd be more sadness in this thread. I for one can already feel the onset of depression, sadness and anxiety. I'll try my best to stay sane for the coming weeks. Goodbye Asuka.
>there will never be anymore Hibike! Euphonium Wednesdays to look forward to
I'm going to really miss Asuka.
Yurifags have /u/ for them, but still, they come here to cause shitstorm and then play the victim, if they don't want to get shited on, they should stay where they belong in first place.
Hang in there, anon. With the anime ending a part of me died as well.
Being gay has nothing to do with it. It doesn't erase the fact that the majority of these people think shipping shuukumi makes you straight and homophobic. It's an overwhelmingly popular opinion and that is where I get my viewpoint. I couldn't care less if they're gay or teenagers, (and there's no telling how many of them are or aren't) that's an excuse. A pretty weak one.
Going to have to agree with you here. Ultimately Asuka won the Kumikob owl so hard it's not even funny. It was pretty cute to see how much Kumiko behaved like a girl with a crush in every instant concerning Asuka this entire ep. It was almost like
watching the first season again.
However, what bothers me is that romantic or not, I don't really follow Kumiko's feelings. Their relationship has always felt sort of hollow to me, or at least not as close for me to see that "confession" we got this episode coming.
I wonder if I'm alone.
was it rape?
What was the point of Kumiko being awkward with Shoe in s2, what was the point of the hairpin and show it during the concert. What was the point of the KumikoReina bait to end in KumikoAsuka
Did you seriously see it as romantic?
I always thought that Kumiko viewed Asuka as a replacement for Mamiko - an older sister figure who's skill she could look up to.
This is more or less strengthened with the parallels of Asuka planning on dropping out of the band (like Mamiko) to focus on her studies, and Kumiko begging her not to after hearing her sister's regrets.
I'm holding out hope for a Midori OVA
>Their relationship has always felt sort of hollow to me
Agree, didn't feel the same as Kumiko and Reina in s1, but I feel like a lot of the relationships in s2 felt a lot more hollow.
>she was going to wear his hairpin they said
>she was going to say it was from her boyfriend they said
>it happened in the novels so it is going to happen they said
>completely, utterly, 100% wrong
Anyone notice howmuc quieter and nicer these threads are compared to the last episodes? Almost like a particular group spent so much time shitposting and gloating only to get punched in the balls so hard they are unable to speak.
I can't stop crying
Please I need S3 please
Now that Kumiko no longer has a big sister character to latch on to, what the fuck is gonna happen to her?
(I'm guessing she'll learn to be the big sister character. She'll fail tho, because of her A-cup tits)
Find a flaw.
>Did you seriously see it as romantic?
Not really, actually.
>I always thought that Kumiko viewed Asuka as a replacement for Mamiko
I too noticed a lot of Mamiko parallels, but I don't know if I'd say Asuka was Kumiko's replacement for her.
As for the culmination of Asuka's arc, that, to me, felt more like Kumiko taking the things she learned from her talk with Mamiko and applying it to Asuka. Not because she didn't want to lose Mamiko again, but because Asuka was just going through the same ordeal her sister had gone through, and could have used the wisdom Mamiko had just given her.
Reina was Kumiko's first love, but it died as Reina became more and more obsessed with Taki, and Kumiko just allowed herself to be friendzoned.
Then she fell in love with Asuka instead.
Shuuichi scenes were just to show the contrast, hinting that Kumiko is a lesbian.
I waited for this for 26 episodes and it was all worth it
Shuuichi will keep her busy.
>Ribbon club band president
She's going to whip this band into shape
Let's all hail our new president
I think he learned to lighten up a little after Aoi left the club and the whole solo fiasco. He also is learning to move forward, which was the point of that start a new scene in the last episode.
>he has to go to Youtube to find his butthurt
You may as well have just gone to tumblr.
>She's going to whip this band into shape
She'll be the end of the band.
That senpai had some mad juggling skills.
y'all niggas dont even know how to play the recorder why were you even watchin this
Where were you when Asuka won the Kumiko Bowl?
I didn't expect this to leave me with "the void" feeling.
>tfw spent 12 years of my life playing piano
>Everything I learned is either related to classic, anime or vidya music
>Tfw never played in a band
>Tfw never played in an orchestra
When you look at it, Hibike! Euphonium is a tragic love story of when you waste so much time pinning for an autistic bitch, you don't realize that true love was in front of you this whole time. Also, band practice and shit.
Man you sound rustled.
>butthurt was all over the place
But that's exactly my point. Why not go to tumblr? Why not to reddit? Could it have been because most yurifags here have stopped caring, so you had to go fish the reactions from more cancerous sites?
Asuka's outfit in the last scene looked so comfy.
HOW DO I GET RID OF THE VOID FEELING
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
That was really good overall but not great tier. That arc with the silent girl felt "forced" and out of place, and I have a feeling like they wasted a lot of potential. I wanted more, it just didn't quite do it the way it was.
Also go fuck yourselves fucking tripfags, fucking hell, I can't even filter you attention whoring mentally ill shitheads since your fucking names would still appear between two other posts.
What's going on here?
