Chapter 3 of Bleach: We Do knot Always Love You is translated: http://missstormcaller.tumblr.com/post/155063530522/we-do-knot-always-love-you-part-3-full-translation
I'm actually sort of surprised that translators are suddenly interested in full translations of Bleach LNs, is the demand higher now that the manga has been completed? I'd love to see a full translation of the Spirits Are Forever With You novels.
I've been stalking /a/ for a full summary of the novel. I always thought Bleach did better as a slice of life then an all out battle shounen and the novel provides that.
I'm considering it to be canon because of how involved Kubo is. I wonder if his oneshot for SJ will incorporate things from the novel or if he will still feature the characters as teens in it.
>I'd love to see a full translation of the Spirits Are Forever With You novels.
Someone has translated the post-script for SAFWY: http://untuned-strings.blogspot.ca/2013/06/bleach-spirits-are-forever-with-you.html
But sadly, I haven't found any full translation of the novels yet.
> To think that there was someone who had such a deep understanding of Bleach! And to think that I would end up giving someone else the scene I wanted to show!
>Normally, I would ask the author to remove such a scene because I had it planned for myself. But I was so overjoyed by the fact that Mr. Narita caught on to this plot point that I asked him to leave the scene in the novel.
Kubo is such a bro.
Doesn't say how they survived, just that they did. Nel was probably the one to save them since she was going to do that the last time we saw her in the manga. Yoruichi is a teacher at the academy, and Urahara sent Renji and Rukia a voicemail congratulating them.
There's just one and nothing has been confirmed yet. Majority of readersthink he's confessing because her face and his expression/body language and because Renji encourages him to confess his feelings.
Alright only this page is about them during this scene >>151525750.
>While they were having a silly chat, the World Penetration Gate came into view, far away. The trio ahead of them already reached it and were talking there.
>Ichigo took a big, deep breath.
>He stopped and looked at Orihime.
>Orihime tilted her head to look up to him.
>'Say... Next time, could you make some time for me?'
This may sound odd, but it's meant as a 'won't you date me/marry me/become mine?' from the context.
>Ichigo chatting Orihime up right under Ishida's nose.
>prettiest girl in his town
>has no idea if she feels the same way
>close friend so he has to be careful not to ruin the relationship
>fucking goes for it and asks her to be his
The release of text in digital form helps. Without that, a translator either has to own a copy or wait for scans, and scans are hard to come by since it involves a lot of work and ruining books. They can't easily look up kanjis online as well.
Anyway, MissStormCaller has a copy so there's no problem of access now, just a question of endurance.
>she's meant to know what he's talking about.
She caught on then.
>Ichigo using proper speech to court Orihime.
>witnesses the wedding of two of his closest friends
>immediately knows orihime is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with
Neko did a fanart of it
>wont you become mine
renji definitely gave him that push. madman.
>tfw you saw Heaven& Earth and Deathberry getting BTFO without mercy
What happened to the NS forum btw?
I can't wait to see how the IchiRuki tumblrites will react to this.
No wonder Kazui isn't that much younger than Ichika. Ichigo and Orihime moved pretty quick. They were pent up.
When it was announced it was also said Hisagi is going to face some "secret" (or something like this) enemy. Going by his conversation with Hitsugaya, Rangiku and Kensei nothing like this has happened prior to Rukia becoming captain. So it should happen later.
>Going by his conversation with Hitsugaya, Rangiku and Kensei nothing like this has happened prior to Rukia becoming captain.
Or they don't know/Kubo didn't think the scene through in relation to the novel.
>no byakuya novel about his childhood/marriage to hisana
>no icefag novel about his childhood/journey to becoming captain
More like wouldn't sell because what's it gonna be about? Teaching children boxing? Moping because Ichigo nabbed Orihime and it's hard to find a job in this economy? Bleach got popular because of the shinigami and their world mechanics, not because it's How I Met Your Mother.
You got me there. Still no Byakuya novel is odd, I'm sure nips would love to read about his marriage to Hisana.
Exactly. Bleach got popular because of the shinigami because they're popular characters. The only humans Nips would be interested in reading about are Ichigo, Uryu, and MAYBE Orihime.
>Or they don't know
Well, now that you mention it, memory erasing isn't impossible, so maybe...
>Kubo didn't think the scene through in relation to the novel.
Come on, like this you can take out any scene from the manga. We should assume that this novel won't contradict the manga until proven otherwise. You can say that manga is self-contradictory in some places, but if I recall correctly Narita tried to explain some of these contradictions in SAFWY, so the guy pays some serious attention to detail.
Byakuya got filler arc...
The best opportunity to write about Hisana is actually this RR wedding novel, but seems like the editors/Kubo/Matsubara chose not to.
Some fanfics had her as an oiran and I agree it's one of the few viable ways a Rukongai woman can ever cross paths with the heir of Kuchiki.
>I checked, in "Turn Back The Pendulum 3", Urahara indeed states that Gotei 13 members can't officially retire (脱退), but they can take leave (休隊) due to personal reasons. If they do this long enough and there's no expectation that they'll return, then Central 46 will 'remove their name from register' (除籍). Members can't retire in a straightforward manner, that's all.
>The novel uses a different kanji for 'retire', 引退. Probably to avoid having to explain this complicated system.
Also, different time. By the time Seinosuke retired, Urahara already left SS, having subverted the system by taking Mayuri out of the Maggot's Nest and putting him in a respectable position.
The omake in which Renji's predecessor retired from 6th VC to open his own sunglasses shop also came out before TBTP arc.
i always thought unohana had accidently killed seinosuke in a rampage during a mission and felt sorry for it - assuming her Retsu persona (kinda like Athene did after accidentally killing Pallas) as penance.
This was a line from a fake spoiler that I liked.
>We see a Flashback of a Young Aizen playing tag with other children. A few adults appear and there seems to be a problem. Aizen explains that he's the strongest and known as the Captain of Justice who will protect everyone who follows him as the other children hide behind his back.
I would like a story about a young, idealistic Aizen who eventually grows into masterminding adversary we all know and love. We'll get to know why he hates the Soul King and his full relationship with Kisuke.
She was already Retsu before that.
In fact, I want to read about how she became Retsu, her interactions with Genryuusai and Kirinji in the past, and how people reacted when she became Retsu.
he better bankai or we riot
i always thought she and yama had a pact not to fight eachother. either out of respect or the fact that the world could end if they did fight. shes the only character whose abilities had to be locked in Muken. zaraki was let loose in the seireitei before. its her powers that forced the use of muken.
Mm, that tight ass.
I thought someone on Tumblr was already working on this.
You're not the original Translator-Fag, are you?
Yoruichi should've asked Rangiku the best way to get Izuru to strip.
>The renruki wedding and ichihime stuff are the last things to happen
Isn't that a good thing? Leaving the important parts for last? At any rate I'm not interested in cutting in unless they're doing an especially bad job.
Where's Rukia? Why is Renji going to the human world?
>renji was the only one walking with them
>probably seeing them off and going to give his thanks for coming to the wedding
>rukia is busy preparing back at home by showering and getting into some bridal lingerie
you know its true
Are you talking about these?
Rukia thanks the Gotei 13 gang (I think) for not only giving her the beautiful veil but the ceremony as well.
Renji urges Ichigo to confess to Orihime because she's such a nice girl and he shouldn't make her wait too long. Ichigo says he knows and grumbles about Renji being a hypocrite when it took HIM decades. Orihime is talking to Ishida and Chad, so Renji goes over and says he needs to talk with the men so Orihime should go away. Orihime comes over to Ichigo and they talk a bit, she mentions how nice Rukia looked, etc.
Then it's >>151527603
It's still up. They're doing fine. They even welcome naruhina fans in general discussion sections. Your guys always exaggerated the salt levels of NS fans. Not that the forum isn't full of salt but they manage to talk about it without eating reach other alive.
NS were never that awful to begin with. Although I am biased, since I've held a grudge toward NH since they harassed ladygt for not taking naruhina commissions, then made themselves out to be the victims.
Even though they won the ship war, they aren't happy. They have too much bitterness in their hearts to be truly happy. When your "happiness" comes from another person's unhappiness, you reveal a lot about yourself.
Oh wait, I saw a post on 2ch that said Orihime got everyone in the group to help sew the veil or something along those lines. The people on 2ch felt that Rukia was really loved because of that.
And this >>151526233 is only page 202 out of 256? I don't understand the structure of this novel anymore. Guess I can only wait for translation or explanation from people who can actually read it.
Then I guess it was her human friends, since she says they'll meet again in the Human World and "returns to the back of the shop".
It's just part of her character, like how Shizuka calls Nobita "Nobita-san" even when the kid is a total loser.
>she says they'll meet again in the Human World and "returns to the back of the shop".
Rukia said this? That's nice, it confirms that they do manage to see each other more during the 10 years.
>nah the third person was Renji walking them to the Senkaimon. Initially Orihime was walking with Chad and Uryuu, and Renji was talking to Ichigo encouraging him to confess to Orihime. Renji then created an opportunity by getting Chad and Uryuu to walk with him ahead, leaving Ichigo to be with Orihime a few steps behind.
Renji best wingman.
Foolish mortal, have you forgotten what is Bleach famous for?
The way things are going, it seems that rather than cancelled, it's Kubo who wants to quit everything but the company insists at least he makes some kind of epilogue and then draw for the novels and live action movie promo.
What was the context for Renji's quote right there?
>a live action out in 2018
That no one asked for. Seriously, why do they keep doing this. No one is excited for the FMA live action either.
>There's also a funny scene where Ichigo calls Renji out. Renji tells him he shouldn't make Orihime wait too long, and then Ichigo says he knows, grumbles and calls him a hypocrite because it took him decades to confess to Rukia.
>but this doesn't seem very much to me.
Yea, I thought the same till I remembered the titles it was competing against-things like re:zero, no game/no life, kimi no na wa, and tokyo ghoul.
46, *93,319 Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You vol.1
50, *55,505 Bleach: The Death Save The Strawberry
Those are figures from last week, in other words before official 27 Dec release date. This week's figure is the one to watch.
349 93,319 bleach spirits are forever with you 1
514 63,292 bleach spirits are forever with you 2
582 55,505 bleach the death save the strawberry
>tfw bleach was the only manga that satisfied my sadist fetish of a handsome and svelte boy who fights for good against impossible odds and gets stabbed, fucked up and is shirtless a lot of the time
what is else there anymore
There's a one shot coming out sometime next year.
Then you will have to tell him goodbye for good.
The story itself starts on page 12 and ends at 206 then there's the postscript by Matsubara and Kubo and two advertisements-one for the upcoming novel, and other showing all the previous novels.
You're right though. It's less than 256 pages.
Just checked the main characters page. Kenpachi, Toshiro, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Mayuri, and that one shinigami kid the gang saved in the beginning of the last arc are featured. I guess they have a scene in the novel.
>Ichigo: “There’s… something (I want) to talk about, so can you make time for me next time?”
So I suppose the one who said the context is "marry me/be mine" is putting something that's not there? This can be interpreted as "go on a date with me" but not a "be mine".
I'm so glad they got BTFO the way they did.
Well, there's an idea for Kubo. Reverse harem manga full of beautiful men who get their clothes torn off and whipped while trying to keep the MC safe from assassins or whatever.
I think we all know who he'd model the protagonist after.
Michiru, of course.
>Even though he knew she wasn’t close enough to hear, Ichigo looked at Orihime to see her reaction.
>“You’re in love with her, right?”
>“…I know,” he answered in a voice that seemed to vanish.
Ichigo. Pining. After. Orihime.
I always knew he had feelings for her. My day has finally come.
I'm not Japanese, but looking at the context I think he's making it clear he has something really important he wants to tell her.
He just doesn't want to confess in front of everyone like that. On the other hand, if he doesn't act now, he may not have the courage to bring up the topic later.
HOW DOES ICHIGO NOT KNOW ORIHIME LIKES HIM SINCE YEARS AGO
ALL OF HIS FRIENDS KNOW
AND SOME HAVE EVEN INDIRECTLY TOLD HIM
AND THEY'VE BEEN THROUGH MOMENTS WHERE NORMALLY PEOPLE WOULD CONFESS AFTER
LIKE NEAR DEATH, JEALOUSY, KIDNAPPING, GRADUATION
THIS IS BULLSHIT
Disclaimer: I don't ship IchiRuki. I don't even mind IchiHime endgame, it's the process that's shit.
Do you read Bleach? He probably didn't even know that he liked her. He woke up one day and wondered "if Inoue is just my friend then why do I masturbate to her every night?"
Literally. That's how it went. But, Kubo won't tell that story.
Only bad shounen MCs are like that. Pic related not so.
>protected all three heroines and everyone else no problem
>two of the three (arguably all) were interested in him
>picks best girl and actually makes a move on her
>also that rocking hair
>wins his fights through hard work and training
>if he loses, he trains like a madman again until he does beat them
>overcomes the high bar set by his dad and granddad
>did I mention he claims best girl
>have the novel
>wanna find the masaki comment by karin and yuzu
>remembers i cant read japanese
>Ichigo took a big, deep breath.
>He stopped and looked at Orihime.
>“There’s… something I want to talk about, so can you make time for me?"
Kubo illustrated it so sweetly.
Jesus fucking christ my dick, FUCK.
When is Kazui going to get a little sister?
Lewdness is written into Ichigo's genes no matter how hard he denies it, and Orihime is too innocent to find anything wrong with jilling off to the love of her life.
Finally BBS goes into FB arc.
I wonder if afterwards they'll stop where the anime stopped or actually continue to Quincy arc with brand new stills.
>tfw vice captain Rukia has 2nd highest avg stats in the game
>Renji and Rukia released together
>They both need the other as 6s Fodder
Is the kid going to be pure like his parents, or will he be corrupted by his grandfather and aunt?
>Then Ichigo Penetrated her World Gate.
Poor Orihime, the girl most likely just thought she was gonna hang out with Ichigo like normal but little did she know he was going to confess.
Probably blushed five shades of red and cried from being so overwhelmed.
That artist Oki opened up a twitter about five hours ago and posted this along with some of her other works.
Someone gave a summary about the Byakuya/Rukia picture
-Byakuya mentions happiness(shiwase ni) that only Rukia hears. This is why she looks surprised in the sketch.
-She nearly tears up at the sentimentality and he tells her not to cry, puts his hand on her shoulder, and encourages her along to where Renji and the priest wait
-Her veil is pure, pure white and the embroidery is golden so it shines like the sunset(or something along those lines)
-Ichigo and Orihime are both taking pictures of the ceremony
The postscripts (authors’ commentary)
(bulky summary with a rough, literal translation)
Tite Kubo -
He had not planned at all to write anything additional to the ending he wrote when the editorial company asked him if he planned to draw Rukia’s wedding ceremony. After the last battle, he wanted to skip time to where Ichigo and Rukia’s children had met and ended it of which he wanted to draw. He did not mean to add anything to it. Matsubara wanted him to draw for the novel. Makoto-sensei said to Kubo-sensei that if he did not draw the confession and proposal scenes in the wedding novel that the readers plus himself would surely not be satisfied/accept. It worked out well in the end. He thinks those who like Rukia and Ichigo just like him will cry for sure.
Matsubara Makoto -
To commemorate the completion of BLEACH, Matsubara-sensei wanted to write a story about Ichigo, Orihime, Rukia and Renji’s marriage, that was that. However, they did not write about [RenRuki’s (and IchiOri’s?)] confession of love and marriage proposal because did not want to disturb the imagination of “I guess these two are surely like this” with fans by describing it solid, and hopes the work help everyone’s imagination to fill in the “blank decade” [between Yhwach’s defeat and the epilogue].
More like Japanese rarely use a pronoun and the translator made a (wrong) guess.
There are also languages with gender neutral third person pronoun.
Native English speakers, please learn foreign languages so you don't assume everything works like English.
This supports my guess that Bleach wasn't cancelled, Kubo just can't bear working as a mangaka anymore. That's why he doesn't have new projects announced immediately. That's why he suddenly started twitter again, posted the comic about the dead kid story, and doesn't post anything after that.
>Ichihime chapter at the end
>The series ended like Kubo always wanted
Pic related is exactly how Kazui happened, he planned it from the start.
It's obvious to the reader what he wants to tell her, but for Orihime it's not as clear cut since they're not even dating yet. It's different with, for example, the end of FMA when Ed told Winry, "Equivalent exchange! I'll give you half my life so give me half of yours!" and the implication of proposal is clear. "I'm about to confess to you" is not the same stage as "marry me".
I thought I saw the release date at Amazon.jp after looking at the We Do Knot page, but now that I see it again I got it wrongly. I somehow saw the date 2006/10/27 as 2016/12/27. So disregard all that.
I know she disappears but I'm asking if she's ever able to talk and shit afterwards or if her personality is gone for good. See it's weird cause most of the swords have a personality or whatever that the user talks to, but Kenny flat out said she isn't coming back.
That account seems okay to me from the first glance, I wanted some insanity so I'm very dissapointed, anon. Then again, you need not go far to see that shit, as NHfags have pretty much taken over the Nrdo general on /vg/ and are aggressive to pretty much anyone who doesn't worship their goddess. Never have I ever seen this amount of circlejerking.
>How new are you?
I've been browing /vg/ generals for at least two years now, idk how new that is supposed to be. I don't frequent /a/, though. If you know any place that has a shitter circlejerk, tell me so I can avoid that shit.
You think Ichigo is uglier than Ichigo with scars, bandaids, and tattoos? Are you retarded?
>Every single fucking board
What? Name one that obsesses over a single character and attacks anyone who as much as suggests they dial it back a little.
>I find it curious you are so hang up on hinatards
I'm hung up on them because they're the only thing I see time and again.
The Byakuya and Rukia moment was translated.
>Ichigo pressed the shutter repeatedly, taking shots of Byakuya and Rukia as they slowly got closer to him. Through the zoomed-in lens, Ichigo saw Rukia smiling under the wedding veil. Byakuya, as always, did not have any expression and appeared calm.
>(At such a time, you should at least have smiled, no...?)
>What a troublesome fellow, Ichigo thought with a wry smile as he held up the camera.
The two of them walked up the aisle through the middle and passed right in front of Ichigo and the others. Rukia looked at Orihime, who was sobbing loudly, affectionately. Towards Ichigo who was next to Orihime and directing the lens on her, Rukia gave him a faint smile. Click! went the camera as Ichigo pressed the shutter. Byakuya threw Ichigo a look, as though telling him off for bringing such an unrefined thing.
>The two of them, accompanied by the music, slowly walked up the aisle and reached Renji, who was waiting at the altar. Renji bowed once. Byakuya looked at, and closed, the red umbrella and handed it over to Renji.
>"... Be happy."
>That is, a voice that reached Rukia's ears only.
Yhwach seems like he's never had to try getting others to his side and just let his reputation and natural charisma do the work for him.
>was IR and NSfag
>mangas end with IH and NH
>get upset at losing
>post ending content for canon gets thrown our way
>it's really cute
>start getting soft spot for canon ships
Why am I such a fickle faggot.
>Just makes me wonder why other people can't at least try to accept them.
I think a big part of it is that to them that would be admitting defeat. They acted like they knew the manga better than anyone and it all fell apart on them.
When you put it that way, i understand them a little better, but the investment they put to shipping is ridiculous, i mean, shipping is for cute fanart and some fanfic if you feel in the mood, not some long ass essay about why it should happen or trying to find deeper meanings about subjects as feminism
i love going to twitter and seeing new fanart on my tl
I think that's their problem. Even when the manga contradicted them they just wrote essay and clapped themselves on the backs for being intelligent English majors.
Most of them are assholes and that's why I laugh at the fact that they are still doing this when it's more pointless than ever.
All the sane ones have moved on by now.
“You’re in love with her, right?”
“…That’s…!” Ichigo was at a loss for words at Renji’s directness.
“You shouldn’t make such a nice girl wait for so long.”
“…I know,” he answered in a voice that seemed to vanish.
“…Still… Don’t act so high and mighty all of a sudden…! Since you waited around several decades…”
Now that's just wishful thinking right there.
So now that its been confirmed TWICE that Ichiruki was never on the table in terms of endgame pairings, is it safe to say that the ~honeymoon~ spread was mere fanservice/bait?
I would read the shit out of this. Seriously.
It's not Ichibe who decides that. It's the lower gods of Bleach who are so irrelevant and weak that they didn't even appear in the manga.
And yes the entire bloodline is cursed.
>tfw Rukia put the happiness of the girl she loves above her own
>tfw Rukia only married Renji because she couldn't have Orihime
>tfw Orihime was waiting 5 years for her and settled for Ichigo
>tfw Aizen put the happiness of the girl and boy he loves above his own
>tfw Aizen only went back to Muken because he couldn't have Orihime and Ichigo
>tfw Aizen was waiting years for them to reach maturity, but they choose eachother
>>tfw Aizen put the happiness of the girl and boy he loves above his own
>>tfw Aizen only went back to Muken because he couldn't have Orihime and Ichigo
>>tfw Aizen was waiting years for them to reach maturity, but they choose eachother
I was in the same boat as you. Back in middle school i was a Narusaku shipper but as the series went I slowly left that ship but I didn't care for Naruhina. But U do admit both Boruto and Sarada made it impossible for me to salty since I do like both of them and I just want the Boruto Manga to get away from the movie so I can read it.
Though I am still a Ichihime shipper.
I don't why you guys are eating this sappy shit up. Is getting back at the meany-pants IchiRukifags who shoved you into lockers mean that much to all of you? This isn't the Bleach people wanted.
>Stop trying to make IR look like shit.
You guys did that all by yourselves though.
Not a lot of people genuinely likes IchiHime and RenRuki. That's the problem. They're pretending because the IchiRuki shippers based them for liking those ships and now they want revenge, and this novel is giving them extra ammo for it.
Ichibee was able to make someone horse just by said person saying his name or coming back to life. Transforming someone he considers a sinner by renaming him or casting a curse is well within his abilities and character.
I'm sure there are posters on here that are pretending, but the IH and RR fans I know are very happy with the happy.
RR was always a popular pairing back in Japan btw. Pretty sure it was second to IR in some fan poll. IH on the other hand had quite a strong fanbase in the West, but stayed quiet because IRs did bully them for a long time.
>IRs go on and on about the black/white symbolism
>novel comes with a little card like thing where rukia is on one side with a white background and renji is on the other with a black background
>When you don't like something and you don't want anyone else to enjoy it
I enjoy the novel more than I've enjoyed the manga in years. It's very comfy and cute. Sorry that I don't care about Ichiruki.
It was a spread to celebrate the 10th aniversary, with the main Bleach characters, Ichigo the protagonist of the human's side, and Rukia the protagonist of the shinigami's side
Hinata pined for Naruto from afar before her sacrifice because she's comically shy. From Orihime's introductory story we see that she's an outgoing and cheerful girl who's often by Ichigo's side from then on. Hinata was always in love with Naruto, whereas Orihime had a crush on him because she thought he was silly, which developed into true love. They're actually nothing alike aside from both being best girl.
This naming kids after other characters shit is the worst. I remember IRs favorite was that they'd have two kids Kaien and Masaki. Of course I'm sure there was an IH fic out there where they named there son Sora.
Riruka is waifu, the rest are not.
God is imprisoned inside a crystal and may or may not be a corpse. Ichibee is the person to actually decide things and rule over Shinigami affairs. Also so far the only gods that exist are Yhwach, Lille and Aizen.
I always thought this. They are both big breasted and gentle waifus.
But, that's where the similarities end. Their personalities are totally different. Orihime wasn't pining from afar, she was always right next to Ichigo.
I liked NH because of the movie, but I didn't care for them in the manga. I liked IH around the time he made that vow to protect her.
Lille and Aizen are gods who preside over nothing.
It is a fact that Bleach has youkai and tochigami however. The latter are benevolent spirits who have limited powers and are gods only in name.
There are several gods in Bleach and multiple realms. Komamura's family were a family of wolf shifters who were banished to the animal realm, yet forced their way back up and were cursed by unnamed gods as a result.
Given how old Sajin's great grandfather is, it couldn't possibly have been Ichibe.
Are the cubs academy students or does Iba just give them the clothes? I presume it's the former and just one of the many changes after the war.
>Lille and Aizen are gods who preside over nothing.
That doesn't matter. God is a race not a job.
>It is a fact that Bleach has youkai and tochigami however. The latter are benevolent spirits who have limited powers and are gods only in name. There are several gods in Bleach and multiple realms
>Komamura's family were a family of wolf shifters who were banished to the animal realm, yet forced their way back up and were cursed by unnamed gods as a result.
Not what happened. They were Shinigami who were cursed for their sins and thus banished into the animal realm which isn't even a physical place, but a state of mind. Nothing about gods has ever been mentioned.
>Given how old Sajin's great grandfather is, it couldn't possibly have been Ichibe.
Ichibee is several thousands of years old and old enough to not have a Bankai or Shikai but instead a Shirafuni.
What does that have to do with anything? We enjoyed the other novels, and they weren't written by Kubo either.
Early databooks and squad 12. Squad 12 hired a few youkai. Akon is an actual oni even.
>Not what happened. They were Shinigami who were cursed for their sins
They were cursed for their bloodthirstiness.
Also Komamura's family have always been werewolves, they just became permanently anthro with the curse.
>Ichibee is several thousands of years old and old enough to not have a Bankai or Shikai but instead a Shirafuni.
Shinuchi is a bankai under a different name. Same shit, different times. Komamura's great grandfather is old enough to know about the previous soul king and the cover up that followed after the current one pre-Yhwach was imprisoned that was hinted at in the novels. All this happened more than 2k years ago.
>A doctor and a renowned fashion designer
Sure, if you want grampa Yhwach to be the one raising your kid. Imagine all the shit he can cram into a 5 year old's head without mommy and daddy around to watch him.
While they weren't written by them, they do seem to incorporate things he never bothers to tell but actually should. Most of the things are probably his ideas. At least with this guy. Narita is much more harder to pinpoint.
Shirtless? I got none.
There are several manga that meet some of the requirements, but not all of them and definitely not in such a state of undress as Ichigo.
I'd say Tokyo Ghoul, but Kaneki is covered up most of the time.
Narita who himself is a master of character bloat, convoluted plotlines and seemingly insignificant details that are actually extremely important is the only one that truly understands Kubo.
Same here. Though the last part was really terrible with the abrupt use of Fullbringers doing all this training just so Tsukishima could stab Ichigo and just killing off the Quincies so only Yhwach would be left, the novel at least takes the sting off by showing the characters between the timeskip and what they've been doing, and it gets me really excited for Hisagi's novel.
It's not active. I can log in.
The discussion threads were all locked, you can only really discuss off topic or post fanart and stuff. Which is not working out because the place is dead either way.
