1-12 stream in a bit over 5 hours.
Make sure you're ready for it!
Episode 13 PV:
There are two versions of the ED. Pic related is from the first version (Episodes 1, 2).
The second version (from Episode 3 onwards) has one slight but fun change: at 0:25 ED time, Papika stays still for about 4 seconds, peeking at Cocona from behind the tree. Then suddenly Cocona looks behind and the next scene is shown.
Anyone else notice this?
Wait, how did the magazine phrase it?
I recall the Rebellion interviews saying the same thing but also how it would divide the fanbase and look how that turned out.

600 by 600 pixels
>Why not here? it's an imageboard after all. we'd just have to reply your post.
Its hard trying to shitpost 24/7 to have to go around collecting images
>Why not real postcards? I want to send one. But there needs to be a campaign for it to mean something.
I'm not sure how this would be accomplished so I'm limiting it to digital.
>Who are we sending it to?
@binobinobi the directors twitter
>There will be two 10 minutes breaks each 4 episodes.
So you're not doing the full autism setup?
I'll attach some words at the top and bottom
>01 Serendipity 4:45
>02 Night Viewing 4:47
>03 find the wind 4:40
>04 Serendipity (off vocal) 4:45
>01 FLIP FLAP FLIP FLAP 5:16
>02 OVER THE RAINBOW 5:09
>03 FLIP FLAP FLIP FLAP (Instrumental) 5:16
>04 OVER THE RAINBOW (Instrumental) 5:06
What would Flip Flap be without Rolling Girls?
This scene is storyboarded by Kotomi Deai, director of RG.
Definitely my favorite episode.
I think you are supposed to hope for an ending where she finally makes a decision about what school to go to. Unfortunately that will probably mean a loss of Papika in some way
I don't know if my heart can tolerate bittersweet,
>People haven't read the ending spoilers
Yayaka end would be one of the few ways to salvage the show. Because one of the local-scale problems of the show is too much time spend on flashbacks and Yayaka instead of developing Cocona. But they kind of turn it around but doubling down on their Yayaka bet becasue that would make time wasted on Yayaka and how likeable they made her meaningful.
The show really would have been better if Yayaka died at the end of ep 9. Additionally from the standpoint of choices having consequences. And lulz from turning her into a robot.
Even the japs are feeling that writer change.
I haven't watched currently airing anime in quite awhile but I'm gonna join you guys in the stream. Maybe this will get me back into keeping current with things. This show better be as good as you guys say.
When is this ending?
Waiting to watch it
Suck it pupfags, you got the implied subtext ending anyways, best girl deserves some loving too.
She'll get a consolation loli instead.
Nyunyu belongs to Buu.
>implying I have a life
Without Flappers there is nothing
>I don't want regret anymore!
>And I am determined to go along with Papika!
Yayaka not dying convinced me that no one else will die (Mimi needs to go though).
Salt will move on, so he'll get together with Sayuri, that's why they brought up her liking him out of nowhere.
Cocona and Papika is obvious.
Twins only care about each other.
Nyunyu will become Hidaka's apprentice.
FF as an organization will continue to exist taking care of the kids. Yayaka will be there with everyone, but not too close to anyone.
Looks cute anon, send it to cardfag
use https://www.guerrillamail.com if you don't want to use your personal mail
Maybe color the tree
I know trigger threads get tons of trolls and shitposters, but sometimes a show's so good and the general consensus positive, you barely notice them.
Those kinds of threads can be fun in their own right.
When so many disparate attitudes collect into one thread it becomes a war of autism with everyone shouting and spamming over one another. If I like the show as much as I expect that I will, writing brickwall posts defending every little detail from shitposters who secretly like the show as much as I do, or don't even watch it, will become my hobby for the next 3 months.
It's rare you get an oppourtunity to be obnoxiously autistic over liking something. Having an opposing force that's equally obnoxiously autistic over hating it is like casus belli
I know trigger threads get tons of trolls and shitposters, but sometimes a show's so good and the general consensus positive, you barely notice them.
Like when? I'm not sure a Trigger show can be good. Not gonna challenge anyone on Luluco since I didn't watch it, but Inferno cop is just a short and everything else was bad. LWA is like the only think they did I actually liked, but if the guys who worked on episodic stuff like KLK will work on it, I have very little faith in it.
LWA, KLK, Luluco. Inferno Cop is fine, too. I don't like their adaptions, and Kizunaiver was shit because Okada a shit.
>but if the guys who worked on episodic stuff like KLK
Sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about.
Who cares about yuri?
Thanks anon. Does this look better or do ツ have to be even smaller?
>Papika + faceless men gangbang
I hope so
These threads were fun. I hope that no matter the ending we can all look back on this show fondly. It's been a pleasure posting with you all.
Thanks for drawing dicks, futanon.
You're good people.
See you on Twitter.
Suggesting this for the tweet text:
(A message from the overseas fans from /a/. The cards each anon created are collected here. Thank you for Flip Flappers!)
What, you mean the placenta posting? My twitter is a disaster, but I'm glad it's amusing.
Cintiq 13HD, also lazy nezumi for photoshop does wonders.
Love you guys
I may hate futa, but you are alright.
Been eyeing the Cintiq13 for a while now, but I worry about the surface area. Did you ever feel like it's too small?
Thanks for the drawings
Fucking hate futa but at least you know how to draw the cutest Papikas.
Just so you all know, I am solely giving the credit to you guys for FlipFlap making the top 25.
Okay, I updated it, I think it should be everything so far. http://imgur.com/a/BAxUI
Nah, I never feel like it's too small. I used like a bamboo create for years and years that was about the same surface area. Someday in the far future I'd like to upgrade to the 24 maybe, but 13 is a great investment if you're gonna use it.
>How can you go on?
I don't care about these words, desu.
Anonymous conjurers up the image of some teenager in a guy fawkes mask talking about his latest epic meme. The Nameless I can still picture some sort of strange dark romantic phantom of the opera like figure
which now that i think about it is not that big of a distinction
>Izetta ends in het
>Hibike ends in het
When did hetfags get this delusional?
I always post in these threads and I'm sure I'll post plenty in the threads tomorrow too. But I only namefag as futanon if I have something to share usually.
If I draw more Flip Flappers art after the series ends (which I hope to do, including making a doujinshi. I just hope the ending is decent enough to not kill my motivation or something) and you want to see it you'll be able to find it on my blogs and twitter.
I strongly disagree with anyone disliking Hibike's ending. I not a huge fan, but for me the show was only great because it revolved around Kumiko and her development. Like, Mizore's arc sucked buy itslef, but it affected Kumiko in important way. And her friendship with Asuka was much more interesting than Reina, Taki or god forbid Shoe.
Typically, "Anonymous" is used to indicate that the author of a written piece does not wish to attach their name to the work. It can be extended to other forms of art and media, but traditionally invokes ideas of authorship.
"The Nameless" sounds like something born of chuunibyou, like an amateur 20-something sci-fi writer with no college education would name his big villain in an attempt to make them sound cool. It's silly because naming something "Nameless" is itself a paradox, and one of the most blatant and simple applications of paradoxical language possible. It's sort of like how everybody groans when that one loser who can't read the mood makes a really shitty pun. They're not groaning because the pun was bad, but because literally all of them were aware that the pun could be made and chose not to because it was obvious and bad, only that one loser was so clueless that he blurted it out like he thought he was being interesting. You might as well name your feline character "Dog," name your seditious revolutionary "Butler" or name your apostate "Pope."
Thank you base futanon.
Salt x Sayumimi is so fucking hot
Cocona fucks Papika wearing pic related.
Not when it's also common english vernacular.
More than half of the english language is slightly modified vulgar latin. Are you going to call people chuuni for using like "language" of "modified," too?
>an amateur 20-something sci-fi writer with no college education would name his big villain in an attempt to make them sound coo
Hiro Protagonist would like a word, just make sure to watch out for those crazy .gifs
Same that's why I solely communicate in middle-high-german
Nû lebe ich mir alrêrst werde,

Thankfully, there was a 50% discount (1+1 deal) on a snack I like in a store nearby, spent my last 160 rubles on buying it. Now I can drink tea with sweet during the stream like I wanted. Only have several coins left now, but all I need is to last until tomorrow and I have enough food for that.
Yes, in the end of episode 8 they start a storyline way to convoluted for 13 episodes, in episode 9 they pussy out of killing a character and then make that character take time away from developing the protagonists plus there was 2 episodes worth of time in flashbacks.
The tone changed significantly as we moved into the climactic final arc. Lots of people disliked that shift, but I wouldn't say it's inherently worse than what came before.
12 had some noteworthy production issues evident very early in the episode, but they were contained to one particular shot in a comic relief bit and didn't really affect the rest of the episode as a whole, nor the important bits that happened afterwards.
The main issue is that the show became popular among other circles outside of /a/, and the ignorant opinions of those circles and their faithful followers fuels shitposting across the entire internet landscape. "Popular opinion" has become so deliberately disingenuous that it's hard to tell actual retarded from pretend-retarded
Can someone resize this image to 600x1200 without it looking weird?
have fun. you got some white space unfortunately
Good to see that me voting for FF every day didn't go to waste. A couple Japanese Flifla fans also diligently voted every day. It's probably the highest voted non-fujo anime on there.
My attempt. Sorry to the original author.
I tried doing it without cutting anything out or changing the aspect. Too frivolous to the source though.
Is the ep 8 song out yet? Do we know the date when the ost is out ?
Don't worry anon, my father works at 3Hz, can confirm the Papika
adopted in the YayaCoco familyend
>starts exactly at midnight
>have work tommorow
H-have fun guys...
Another draft of the collage.
Not him, but I have a 250 word essay due tomorrow morning and watching this stream would hurt.
Flipflappers 24th on the list of the Tokyo anime award festival for this year beating out "big" shows like re:zero, hibike and this years jojos. This is pretty good.
Wow, you're not even joking. The closest anything above it has to a female cast is Utawarerumono:Haremtrash ad Infinitum.
The complaints that moeshit is killing the industry should be dead and buried at least.
>Just finished my card before the stream starts
>They truly were... Flip Flappers.
Are you fucking serious?
Yeah I would think it's either that or the audio compression is too low. Extremely high compression tends to throw audio levels out of whack and sound like the song is all shitty base with barely anything else.
I'm just not sure what service OP is using, as that would affect what option he must've fucked up to get the sound like this.
Oh man, I wish I could.
I guess I'm already too old for all-nighters...
Nice stream by the way!
For those having issues with opening chat/want to open chat on other screen/are using livestreamer/streamlink:
UStream chat is just IRC, server is just "chat1.ustream.tv" and the channel is "#qnAueUCuyMN"
You don't need to log-in with a password
So, those glasses.
It kind of makes sense that Cocona would not treasure them (she didn't think of using them in ep4) since she doesn't know they belonged to her father. And it makes sense that Asclepius/Saltad would repair them because he thinks that she should have them and value them, but doesn't realise that she has no reason to do so.
Also, it's possible we were wrong about the tracking chip all along and her arm was just sore because that's where the robot was holding her.
Everytime Papika says COCONA!; take a sip
Everytime someone says Amai; take a sip
Everytime Yayaka says Tch; take a sip
Finish your drink when Bu chan does something lewd.
More idea are welcome
Finish your drink when Yayaka yells COCONA!
I have to say, this is the first time I've rewatched episode 2 since I started following these threads.
It's way better than I remembered. All of the theories and interpretations I've read here have completely changed the way I see that episode now. Everything fights together so intricately and all the imagery seems to make sense and have a very tightly knit purpose related to every other little bit of the episode.
I think it may be one of the best overall now that I see it this way.
Shit forgot to type text. These are for the collage of course.
All out of drugs, sorry, just booze. That being said I watched the first six episodes high as a kite and it was amazing. Although six was a bit hard, it had me in tears by the end
No, they were Cocona's in the same way that Evil Mimi's feelings are still a part of Good Mimi. It's all about needing to fight your inner demons if you want to be a good person.
You can work while on psychedelics if you're not fucking retarded. Take whatever you're using 2-3 hours before the stream, watch it and when most people work 2 hours later, the trip is coming down.
They told him to get his dick wet, and god bless him he did it
>Episodes 10, 11, 12 and 13 are only a single arc
Agreed, I could never understanding about all the bitching that happened between those eps, we were only getting like a quarter of the story at a time.
>The only QUALITY part of 12 was the walking scene with NyuNyu
>watching the masterfully done early episodes will make us appreciate the shoddy post 9 episodes
Logic? What's that? I don't know.
The issue is that if they didn't shove all the plot of the entire anime into the last four or five episodes, it wouldn't be so out of nowhere.
Go ahead and argue that the first half had plot in it but if you honestly believe the overall story wasn't introduced after that, you are literally retarded.
I guess I am a big old retard, oh well
>shoddy post 9 episodes
I actually forgot how important the first 4 episodes are at building CCN and PPKs relationship, they enable everything that comes after to fit perfectly and make sense.
Really well written and directed.
I love how some things like Yayaka's lighting motifs were established right from the first episodes but way more subtly, and became more blatant as time went on.
They really handled that well
Stream's really fun guys
Yeah, notice how gay they become during episode 5, just the right moment to have a time loop all-girls lesbian school. Wouldn't have worked without episode 4.
is ustream chat panel exclusively allowed on specific platform like IE or Chrome? I cannot see the chat panel, and also unable to connect to the IRC server(chat1.ustream.tv), which probably blocks invalid nick users.
do anyone succeed to connect to theIRC server?
She will merely pretend to be dead. Like what is about to happen in the stream.
Episode 4 really set up for it nicely.
I liked how you could see not only the fact that their relationship was developing, but could also see Cocona transitioning from being fiercely independent, like in episode's 1 and 2, to becoming extremely dependent on Papika.
I like it because it's not a purely positive curve, and the changes you see in her character start to highlight the bigger flaws that become the defining features of her character arc.
The scenario as a whole was really well thought out.
Can't wait until we get to Yayaka henshin. Love you fuckers.
you can make a channel by using web service like above.
what you have to do is to inform server address and channel name like below:
