There are two versions of the ED. Pic related is from the first version (Episodes 1, 2).

The second version (from Episode 3 onwards) has one slight but fun change: at 0:25 ED time, Papika stays still for about 4 seconds, peeking at Cocona from behind the tree. Then suddenly Cocona looks behind and the next scene is shown.

Yayaka end would be one of the few ways to salvage the show. Because one of the local-scale problems of the show is too much time spend on flashbacks and Yayaka instead of developing Cocona. But they kind of turn it around but doubling down on their Yayaka bet becasue that would make time wasted on Yayaka and how likeable they made her meaningful.
The show really would have been better if Yayaka died at the end of ep 9. Additionally from the standpoint of choices having consequences. And lulz from turning her into a robot.
