There isn't a single anime adaptation that outdoes

It's a reference to the climactic battle of Shirou vs Gilgamesh. Shirou's ability, Unlimited Blade Works, allows him to analyze the composition of most weapons, and project these weapons, along with the skill of the owner of the weapon. His opponent is the legendary First hero, who's power is owning a vault containing all the treasures of the world.

Gilgamesh attacks by materializing his vast horde of weapons from behind himself and launching them at his opponent, while Shirou counters by creating projections of every single weapon seen and launching them in the same manner. As Gilgamesh repeatedly calls Shirou a faker due to his ability, Shirou says there is nothing that says a fake cannot surpass the original.

So the post is just an attempt at a meme.

Anime adaptations can be preferable if you can't get into the original work. As a mangafag I could never get into Arpeggio. So I ended up with an anime of missile spamming AI girls learning to emotion.

It was pretty okay.
