i love shierke. she's great. only complaints i have about berserk's main cast is that all farnese does now is say "guts" when something happens with him, and puck is constantly in his chibi/chestnut form.

I've started to dislike Puck, get at me.

His dynamic with Guts seems so off nowadays. He used to be this perfect counter to Guts' nihilism and near invincibility, being the complete opposite. He used to be a window into Guts' soul, and he used to be a driving point in the manga, a true sidekick. He was actually used to show progression in Guts, like when he's finally allowed to sleep in Guts' bag. Now he's just some.shitty comic relief doing dumb shit and throwing out cultural references. Puck's character always had stuff like that, but it was never what he was all about.

Compare pic related to his current dialog and tell me it sounds the same.
