With the influx of rookies, does your seiyufuu still get many roles?
My seiyuufu doesn't seem to suffer from the lack of work but she needs to have some quality role in some quality anime finally.
I'm not committed enough to her for me to call her that.
On point, she has become too dated and expensive to be in newer anime. Not having versatile range certainly didn't help.
I think she is more beautiful than cute
She has just taken off to main role after playing so many mobs in the past, Mao casting is unstoppable nowadays
Kana Asumi? Is not she married? Also Aniplex still love her
My seiyuu-fu is old and busted, I still love her though!
I was glad she got that one Granblue role, that's how bad things have got.
My new hotness.
Not having unions pushing the pay rates up does that. Maybe they do have unions, but the attitude of making demands at the expense of the companies that provide for them is not a very Japanese mindset.
>Finally get around to watching most recent FGO stream
>watch the FGO anime trailer
Nothing against Megumin, but it really hurts not hearing Tane-chan anymore.
It's a pretty cheap book, if you wait long enough, someone will eventually do it.
I could take some pictures of mine though if you'd like?
Is not Osawa pretty big agency why did they keep pushing same people for years, never heard someone new from them since Taneda, I see they tried to package deal one of their male rookie but he is still not doing much after that.
I actually meant to grab it alongside an order of manga I bought recently off of amazon.jp, but it totally slipped my mind.
I'll probably pick it up eventually, but I can't really justify shipping it by itself at the moment.
I understand the fans want a picture book of their seiyuu and their agency wanting money but cant they get a better shot? That left side image just make me sad than getting a boner or some other feelings.
Second half of the year was relatively quiet, probably because she was focusing on her new mini-album.
The highlights of the year were easily her roles in Kimi no na wa/Koe no Katachi. It was nice to see a lot of praise all around and some people being introduced to her acting through these movies. Others speculating she will end up dubbing Hollywood movies more sooner than latter.
She also seems to be getting more game roles.(Persona 5, Nier Automata, a variety of characters in FGO)
I'm just gonna post Ueshama before thread gets deleted!
My waifu Osaka's voice actress doesn't do a whole lot of work, but I'd love if we could get more Haruhi so that we can get more Tsuruya. Her and Asakura were the highlight of Yuki-chan for me. I'd also like to get the final arc of Bleach animated, even if Orihirme isn't my favorite of her roles.
We just need more shows in Kansai-ben. Lovely Complex was great for that.
VA's usually blow up for like 5 years then slowly get cycled out for newer talent. The older VA's usually get into more supporting characters instead of voicing MC material.
See Kugumiya Rie, Mamiko Noto, etc. Queens of 2000-2010, but you barely see them in the mainstream stuff these days.
I think it's more like people get too used to their voices, so unless they have an insane range like Chiwa Saito, they sound too similar to other roles.
Some also pursue a singing career like the ones at Sphere, and another big reason is that they tend to move to a broader range of stuff like voicing games, movies or mainstream media, like Norio Wakamoto is doing these days, and some even get some roles in TV.
They don't get tossed aside, but it's normal that they get less time to do anime only and start doing more stuff as they get more known.
Companies also like to promote new seiyuu because they're probably cheaper and females can be pushed into all that idol bullshit.
yuri a shit
there's a lot wrong with this picture.
poor girl is going to get eaten like all those girls do in that manga with the bugs
Was she drawn by Ume-sensei?
She probably like anal.
Totally wants anal.
Pretty good granny.

But it's her birthday today.
Any news on Konomi Suzuki's involvement?
She still gets roles but not as frequently as she used to sadly. At least she still has Asuna and SAO is still popular so she still has work.
what do you know it is
Is it wrong that I was fapping to her pictures earlier today? It's my tradition to fap to characters/seiyuu on their birthday.
I love how she still has that cosmonaut background up.
Yes, She's top dog right now along with a couple of others.
well for one, she watched CCS as it was airing and got a crush on Shaoran and decided she wanted to be a voice actress so she could be in cartoons one day because of it. Apparently she also spent more time nerding out with other girls about what cartoon characters they all had crushes on all throughout high school and was always awkward around basically anybody else who wasn't a dork. Then she got really into final fantasy and stopped leaving the house for a while. Even now she only really leaves the house to work (and go to the convenience store late at night), and mostly spends her time lounging around and posting on Twitter at all hours and playing a lot of FF14.
Here is a tweet from when she found out about the new CCS comic in Nakayoshi. She is a gigantic dork and likes to sperg out about card captor sakura https://twitter.com/nanjolno/status/705292089920135168
Also here she is taking a picture of cherry blossoms and saying "sakura-chan" https://www.instagram.com/p/XRUr8OlnKj/
Sumire is so lewd.
Oh she voices that peace peace girl, Now I have motivation to watch that now.
Sumipe is a pure woman. I'd appreciate it if you would please refrain from making crude comments about my wife.
As a friend put it, "I get the feeling every Japanese woman below the age of 50 has at least one picture that is exactly this".
Also if anyone has duckface it's probably Sora. Sooooraaaaa. i love sora
Still relevant after all these years. Kind of surprising in a way, with her previous career being what it was.
Don't worry, Taneda san is coming back soon, here is one of photos she made recently with her friend. Less makeup but looks fine to me.
Don't mind me. Just posting my favorite seiyuu.
I wish HanaKana had more unusual roles. Especially bat-shit angry ones.
She should have just gone with the full veteran seiyuu route instead of halfassing the idol route with her photobooks and whatnot, especially since she doesn't have the looks to pull it off.
I love seiyuu wearing Santa-outfits.
How could you have missed these pictures then? From Sora Tokui/Aimi Terakawa combination birthday party between Milky Holmes and the girls from Poppin' Party (the kayfabe band from Bang Dream)
Cause they're good. They're real good. Lookit how good they are.
CHRISTMAS MIMORIN IS INCREDIBLY CHRISTMAS
I mean, they're all still extremely active and it's barely been a year since µ's went on hiatus; why would any one of them publicly go get married or pregnant, which would not only culturally signal "I'm winding my career down now" but make it a lot harder to eventually return to the physical activity they put themselves through all the time?
Also Emi's sister had a kid last year and Mimo's sister literally just had a kid (she blogged about it five hours ago)
Also look at how close they all still are. You know they're having active social lives (some of them anyway) but they keep all that out of the picture in their public face because that's part of the job
Made one for Aya finally.
you forgot one
Hanazawa is your senpai who looks cool but then acts silly.
