Irene isn't Jolyne's replacement but Jolyne's soul with different memories. In the first reset, Jolyne and co's souls were left behind and replaced with the weird versions who are different souls. In the second reset, killing Pucci before MiH resolved caused it to be undone and everything returned to the old universe minus Pucci so his soul is left behind in the new universe while everything else returns to the old one where Jolyne and co's souls are still located. Pucci gets a bizarro replacement in the old universe like they did in the new universe, and this changes the fate of Jolyne and co giving them different lives and thus different memories, so while the souls are the same they aren't really the same people because their lives were different. Pucci is completely replaced while Irene is still the same soul but o e that's lead a vastly different life.

Anyone else really, really likes how they gave each and every single minor character or villain their own theme ?
It's honestly a great way to make sure each encounter stands out in their own and it helps to make these characters more memorable. The anime started doing this a bit in the 2nd half of Part 3, with unique themes to Mariah and the D'Arbies and Oingo & Boingo, but to give EVERY minor villain their own theme is something I really never expected, and I'm glad they did it.

As an artist I can promise you that detailed closeups are really easy compared to even basic anatomy. The eye gets drawn in by all of the pretty details, and there are a lot (Dio's eyelashes, the shading, the clothing etc) and that's more than enough to make you appreciate the drawing, but because a normal human silhouette is so ingrained in the brain then any deviations from it are immediately picked up on.

When there's a mix of both detail and fucked anatomy then you get a weird effect where the longer you look at it the worse it gets. Pic related, I can find a new anatomy-flaw pretty much every time I look at it.

Just a coincidence, in the same way that Bruford looking like Star Platinum was just a coincidence (Baoh was said by Araki to be a influence in Kars though).

I always thought Star Platinum looked like the buddhist deity Shiva with Kenshiro's body and shoulderpads, and Araki said as much that HnK and guardian spirits were used for Star Platinum's design.
