The mangaka went to the anime after broadcast party.

Apparently the last episode had some animations problems because it was completed at the last minute, but there should be fixes on the BD.

There was a scene cut from last episode because they didn't have time but that should be on the BD. The author mentions he was surprised when he heard "that character" was going to appear. He mentions about it not being in the original, not sure if it's the scene with that character being anime original or if the character is anime original (and his surprise was about the kind of character that was added).

The mangaka was told that on the extra for volume 6, a certain character which isn't on the actual anime would appear, but they haven't told him who. He had the impression the director and Lynn were grinning when they told him that, so he is looking forward to who it will be.

It was definitely the most enjoyable series to watch. Even if it has major flaws, it's the best anime of the year for that reason alone. No, an SOL playing it safe and making sure no flaws exist because there is no content at all to be flawed, is not a great thing. Sure, it can be enjoyable, but ultimately something that is both good and bad is better than something that is nothing.

I think this reflects the average /a/ user very well, in fact. Because they fear failure, they do not attempt to succeed. And I don't mean success just in the worldly sense of having lots of friends, a nice house, a good job, and a family. There's already a number of land types in the anime and a large variety of fighters. Even though the manga puts a lot of focus on 1 on 1 fights you could still have the 6 girl free-for-alls the gambling aspect of the sport focuses on and it'd be cool if you could also place bets on such fights to gain money for your gym.

Rin helped and she had to use various tactics, but in the end it was Miyata herself with the fundoshi mode and that attack she made while on it that made the biggest difference. my guess is that she is either somehow making the land right below her gain density (unlikely since the compression would deform the land right below her, like how the ground below her was cracked when she first appeared), or using a strong downward force (say, she does it with her hips and the legs withstand the force, transmitting it to the land), she wouldn't have to exert enough force to push the whole weight of the land (and its players) down, just enough to displace the water below where she's standing.

Now for why did the ground break on her first appearance, either she did it on purpose or she didn't; either she does like to crush things and thus it's part of her personality, or the air inside her spacesuit is compressed, enough to crush the ground as she's landing (I think that the air can't be lighter than actual air because since the air inside the suit is leaving the suit, she wouldn' need to try to use a gravity gimmick to get down, at least unless she does have an S personality, who likes to crush things and people).

About the current match, I think that, if only one player advances, it would be Mio. Suzuho might save Usagi from Hikaru but won't be able to win against her, Mio will be busy with the muscular player, then it will be a 2 vs 1 match (maybe Mio will finally give Usagi more attention as a result, even if Usagi loses as long as she puts up a good fight, and Usagi might even outlast Hikaru so that the two have a match among themselves).

Maybe Mio outlasts Suzuho because she trained with the other elite class members (where Nozomi and Sayaka went to, instead of leaving with Suzuho), maybe also because she thinks that by doing so she would have the best growth as a player so that she would one day have a proper match against Nozomi, like she wanted.
