I always wanted to be a hero when I was a kid. At first it was merely picking up trashes from the ground, helping the elderly, small things like that. But before I knew it, I was spilling the blood of the very people I wanted to save. It was at that moment I realized being a hero is merely a childish ideal. I realized... humans were monsters that couldn't be saved.

I still do personally. I've lived a good life, I have no regrets and am satisfied with how things have turned out. If I could push someone out of the way of a car or save someone from a shooter I think I could die happy. It seems like the kind of fitting end to the story arc of my life.
