Let me start off from the basics. In the Lazy King, there exists beings in the underworld called demons, and their source of life is the soul core. Demon powers revolve around the 7 deadly sins, after choosing a particular sin (you can choose more then one sin, but growth is divided and thus it is more difficult to gain power) you can build up power for the soul core by performing the sin. Demons have a power ranking system, Knight, General, Demon lord and than Evil God (though literally every demon believes demon lord is the pinnacle of power a demon can reach). Demons who reach lord class embody their sin, the influence of their soul core practically making them slaves to their desires. Leige the demon lord of sloth is literally compelled to rest even when he doesn't want to. This effect can be broken if you break the soul core, but usually that would kill the demon. This happens to both Leige and Zebub (is that the gluttony lords name?) with Leige being far more active (literally walking by himself) and Zebub losing her appetite.

Presumably we're talking about a traditional isekai fantasy world, and I'm basically thrust into the world as a commoner, so if learning magic is easily accessible, I'd go that route. Otherwise, I'd invent gunpowder, sell the formula to some merchant for riches. From there, I'd properly learn magic and use my modern knowledge to be OP.
