I think it's all quite poorly written. Most characters aren't well developed or memorable at all (I couldn't even recognize a lot of them) and the writing is style reminds me of middle school. The more I think about the series the more embarrassed I am for actually taking the time to read it, it's just a good mindless time-waster I guess. I suppose the strength of the series is that you never know what is going to happen next because anyone can die to anything but the impact of the surprise is lost when my brain is off (since I'm not thinking about what will happen next and I don't really care about the characters or storyline).

Just finished Limited.
Honestly, it didn't hit me nearly as hard Restart did. A lot of the deaths felt way more sudden. It felt a lot closer to how I felt during Unmarked than how I felt about the deaths in Restart. Granted I just liked Restart's cast more overall. And also best girl was actually a survivor for once, plus there were more survivors as a whole, although I was kinda disappointed that the epilogue didn't feature Mana, 7753, or Tepsekemei. I still thought it was really good, just not as good as Restart.

I think I prefer the plot as well in Restart, but to me the cast is generally the most important part of a story. I will agree with you on the villains and fights though, the author seems to keep getting better at coming up with weird powers and then finding crazy ways to make them useful during fights. Yeah it really just depends what you prefer more,if it's the cast or the story.In Restart's case the cast carry it hard except for Keek while Limited had the good balance between cast and story.So it really just depends on what your tastes are but personally to me I slightly like Restart more than Limited since it has my most favorite girl which was Lapis but I think the both of them were pretty great reads anyway so the small difference doesn't matter that much.

Just like how Inferno protected Deluge.

Just like how Cherry protected them all.

Just like how Filuru protected Deluge.

Quake comforted Tempest, was then decapitated, and then Tempest came afterwards as well. Deluge had seen it. It was recorded. She played it back over and over, realizing the futility of it.

Deluge’s friends all tried to protect each other, but it was meaningless. Many of them died.

Many of them died for no reason.

All of them due to Shufflin.

And this Shufflin. This Ace of Spades. Does she really think she has the right to protect her friends, when she’s caused so much suffering for Deluge’s friends?

Deluge had completely snapped at that point in time and was going apeshit on the spade Shufflin,I'm pretty sure she made her body unrecognizable after that and knowing she replays those scenes such as the Pure Elements getting beheaded and Filuru taking the spear shot over and over and over was just Deluge adding fuel to her own fire.
