Got a second opinion at a different doctor yesterday. Got me on a prescription for a strong antibiotic and a medicine. We are going to see what happens, so no eye removal for now.

I still can't see very well, it has black spots in my vision. Might need an eyepatch for short term. I was kinda hasty with surgery, glad I told you about it.

Just out of curiosity, because I've never seen it mentioned in all these threads and in reality I'm not worried about being card-grinched, but there's a chance the card might've got lost in the horrible local post service or even destroyed by the torrential rains that we have literally every day here around this time of the year (I get home late so it's very likely the post guy can put it under the door outside, happened several times with some bills). Just to make sure an eventual santa don't feel bad that I didn't post it - I simply didn't get any so far.
