I don't even hate cgi. In fact I though some of the akito fights were really good.

It was certainly the only worthwhile mecha this year, but I wouldn't say it's quite AOTY material.

It turned it to a lot more than I'd anticipated.
Right now I'm just waiting for the Kuromukuro figure. It'll even come with the "steed" that can transform and latch onto it.

It was good show and new step for PA Works, but no. Its not AOTS material.

The anime production itself was co-financed by Netflix and aired on it in bulk too. Of course it gets western release.
