Its alright. I dont really get how its doing so well sales wise and I think Shinkai's other films are better overall.

It was an enjoyable, heartwarming anime overall, but the story is fucking stupid and has plotholes the size of that one meteorite that ended up (not) killing everyone.

So this is meme magic. Not bad.

Pretty good, I liked it better than most of his other works but I felt that it wasn't as focused and well brought across as 5cm/s. Definitely a good film, but not 10/10 amazing. The art is still amazing, as to be expected.

I went to see it twice and the first time I missed out on the short 2 minute introduction (came in just before the title/song). Watching it the second time (for the first time) I reckon that NOT seeing the clips before the title is much better than seeing it.

9/10, my personal favorite anime production of the year.

It would've been 10 if there were more of the bodyswapping shenanigans. Everything else was damn near perfect.
