Yes because there was huge shift with the time shift, that already put people off because it just skipped entired years and then it became a high school drama, the incest was j... I laughed because on how of the tone it was with the start of the series, I Usagi Dropped it after the time-skip so the incest wasnt what broke it for me.

I liked it. It would have been awkward if he was grooming her on purpose, but she came to the conclusion that she loves him on her own. And even then he told her to wait until she graduates.

To be honest, he got it pretty good. He's how old, and he has this young qt who loves him and wants to bear his children. Either that or he was going to die foreveralone since that single mom he was getting close to got with someone else during the time skip.

Back in the day there were tons of "bachelor family friend influences upbringing of his future wife" action, I read enough literature to not be mad. I'm mad though, because there's not nearly enough information on the rest of the character's endings. Actually, the whole last part felt so molasses, this reveal refreshed it a little bit.
