Prism Cherry was actually always ideal magical girl with her always being helpful to people but the thing that was bringing her down from being an ideal one to Pythie was her combat ability and what she thought was a useless ability.

This series is a hidden-potential gem. If you love Dark Magical Girls stories like Puella Magi Madoka Magica or Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru, you will like this series. I'm sure about that.
Plot: 7.5/10. Quite unique. Mahoiku is the first work of the author, so it's still have some hole somewhere, but it's still good. :"> Battle Royale + DanganRonpa + JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure + etc... Not every arc will repeat the same plot so you won't be bored. It's very exciting to read. >w<
Characters + Powers: 7.5/10. Everyone have their own circumstances, special abilities, and most of them can utilize to the fullest (not count the first 2 Arcs though). Some char can reappear somewhere in the whole story, while someone else left (or died). You can love them, but Death's Aura is crawling everywhere. NSFW. ;;;;;__;;;;;
Battles: 8/10. You can find almost any chapter will be involved with battles between Magical Girls. The only minus is the description of battles is short though (You'll understand me when you read Vol 1 and watch 12 Eps Anime).
Translation: 9/10. The quality is good, and it have some typos, but just on a very small scales, so you won't rage about this (Better much than some LNs/WNs translated on NU I've read so far, and consider that this huge project is a SOLO project).
Overall: 8/10.

world of magic is where magical girls and mages do administrative shit, HR, PR, R and D, Foreign Relations, etc. Magical girls can only ever use one kind of magic, the only beings that can use multiple types of magic are mages, which are humans that don't get the physical boosts MGs get, but in exchange have more versatility with magic, when you are recruited into the world of magic you can join one of the magical girl divisions, which deal with issues pertaining to magical girls, being a proctor is a duty of hte HR division for example, you can also join any of the other many magical girl divisions depending on what you want to specialize in. There are also homeland departments that deal with internal issues in the world of magic that are way harder to join and few in the magical girl divisions have contact with them

There are mages who are just normal people that learn magic and are more versatile, or there are magical girls who are normal people that are selected and physically enhanced with magic. Magical girls only get their one special ability and can't do much else, but a fight between a mage and a magical girl is typically no contest since they're like supermen. So Cranberry didn't have anything else besides being ridiculously strong. Lots of magical girls live semi-normal lives after being selected, but there's several divisions of the land of magic government that keep things in check and one of them presides over selecting new ones. Fresh magical girls tend to end up working desk jobs rather than field work if they try to get in.
