I don't recall ever saying there was. I sat through 200 episodes of Sailor Moon. The problem is that Star Driver didn't have much going for it besides that outside of pretty animation. MOTW formula is fine as long as the supporting structure is strong, but Star Driver just aped Utena. Which is funny considering Enokido and Igarashi both worked on Utena and SM.
