Well there's 16 main novels, but there's also a zero volume a 2.8 volume and 5.5 volume. Anyway h'es still coming to grips with the whole Emi being nice to him and not wanting to kill him anymore thing. Overall things are still moving slow and steady, Maou stepped up as an emotional support for Emi from time to time and been happy seeing her happy, but hasn't committed to any stronger feelings Emi spends a chunk of 16 trying to figure out how to give obligation chocolate to Maou with out it getting weird.

As for the others Chiho still has a crush on Maou, but there is zero indication in any of the volumes that will go anywhere.
