Need a little insight.
I attempted to watch the first episode, dubbed, and it was pun after pun after pun. Does it ever not pun? Is it just bad translation for the dub, and the original is ok?

The puns are less painful in Japanese, but there are still many.

The last episodes of both seasons are truly heartwarming.
Also, try the manga. They get slightly deeper into the other MC's. It seems more like kids are a target audience.
