Similar to Kurisu in alpha we never see Daru's death HOWEVER given that every timeline with an apocalypse in it has a Suzuha one can suppose Daru has a fated death as well, allowing him to live long enough to send back suzuha. Mayuri also has a fated death in both alpha and beta. In alpha because she is one of three people okabe would go autistic over and in beta because she has to send her daughter
The bigger question is why Suzuha and Kagirii are fated when Nae isn't

That ending confused me. If Mayuri and Suzuha went 70 millions years into the past then they shouldn't even exist there anymore because the world line should shift to the stein's gate world line. Hell they should haven been there after Okabe time leaped back the 48 hours and and got them to time leap properly too. So who the fuck is he chasing?

Honestly right out the gate my friends were like "he's clearly evil I hate him" and I was very thoroughly on the side of "look at this goofy professor dude he's my favorite side character"

His potentially being horribly evil isn't even a thing that gets brought up in the Kurisu route, so while seeing him be completely evil in the Mayuri route destroyed me, I still choose to believe that he's actually a fairly good guy in most timelines.

I just... Want Okabe and Kurisu and Maho and Dr. Maybe-Evil-All-The-Time to hang out and have goofy moments together dang it.

Also: I'm kinda sad that this version of Okabe doesn't get to exist in the S;G worldline. It seems that after the struggles he goes through, even when his Kyoma persona comes back, he's somehow fairly balanced, able to use it when needed but not hindered by it, and capable of expressing himself well normally before slipping the mask back on to keep everyone hyped.

The S;G Okabe is still a lot more socially awkward, and so will likely flounder about just a bit more than I'd like to imagine. Maybe this works though, neither him nor Kurisu can be open about their feelings more than a bit at a time, maybe they'll become less awkward together.

Also: Kyoma's revival in the Kurisu route was amazing, and Luka's asking if he was finally one of them after his sacrifice in 2036 destroyed me.

Also: Man I hope Mayuri and Maho are both able to find somebody, the Kurisu x Okabe OTP is still amazing, but it hurts seeing all this potential and have them all sacrifice their feelings for the sake of the S;G worldline.

There can be no story of the S;G worldline that I will tolerate unless it gives everybody an amazingly happy ending. I know it isn't realistic in the slightest, but I need to believe, after all the sacrifices everyone made, I need to believe.

It should have sent them to Alpha but since Kurisu was alive it was a paradox and so the wordline collapsed on SG.
Suzuha and Okabe couldn't sense the change cause they were time traveling and outside the cause effect space
just like Milky Way Okabe, who sure wanted to rescue Mayuri and Suzuha but also wanted his RS to not influence and choose to go out in his terms

They should have just made STRATFOR a undergroup of the Committee. That way Leskinen gets tied in with the S;G worldline and can stay relevant too.

Realistically speaking the Committee is only one of the driving forces on the playing field. Not every world government is under their influence or agrees with their views.

Kagari was indeed cute, albeit the victim of wasted opportunity. If more time had been spent developing her as a distinct character beyond her intense attachment to her mother she could have been really interesting.
