How does one learn how to shade? I've tried looking at models and stuff, drawing a light source on the paper, and studying other things people has done but whenever I try to color stuff I feel like my darks and lights are just completely random and probably doesn't make any real sense.

Right, light source is most important. Pick where the light is coming from and go off there. You will have to reference a lot when you're starting out. Even look at yourself in the mirror to reference or use yourself as a model. Also don't be afraid to use contrast. Just practice a lot. There's probably videos on youtube with a more detailed explanation. But you can do it.

If you're still here, i looked into shipping beer and many people that do it wrap it in plastic wrap (like would be used to cover food you're putting in the fridge or something), wrapping that in a heavy tape (shipping/packing tape), and then wrapping that in bubble wrap a few times. I ended up doing all that and wrapping it in cardboard to, then packing paper tightly around it in the main shipping box.

The first layer of plastic is so that you can easily cut off the tape. The tape keeps the glass from going everywhere should the bottle break, and the bubble wrap obviously helps to keep the bottle from breaking.

Also, don't send beer via airmail, bottles often pop their tops due to the pressure in the plane.

Now everyone reading this thread knows how to ship beer. I hope this is helpful.
