Manga is pretty decent, but it's no replacement. You're missing the far-side routes:Akiha, Hisui, Kohaku. Which many consider the better half of the story.

Kagetsu Tohya is great as well, as a sequel of sorts.

I forget, was SHIKI even introduced in the manga?

Oh yeah, I consider the soundtrack pretty great as well. It's overall a different experience.

SHIKI was in the manga, but later gets completely taken over by Roa. A shame, I liked SHIKI much better as an antagonist.

I actually love the manga more than I loved the Arcueid route it is based on from the VN. Even Nasu admits as such. It is superior. What it lacks, of course, is the other remaining routes of the VN.

The manga is basically the Arcuied route itself, with lots of elements from the other routes in it.
I think the manga is a better Arc route, but less good then the entire VN itself.

The whole scene at the end where Shiki goes and finds her is manga only. In the VN you have true end where Arc never comes back, and good end where she does come back herself.

What's nice about the manga ending is that it directly connects it to Eclipse.

The manga is the better Arc route, but the VN is the better Tsukihime.
