I don't understand why this manga has a harem. We have two clear lead girls, the MC and her rival, while the rest get literally zero development with the coach. With Youko I can understand because it could add another dimension to the rivalry running gag she and Mitsu have. But Saki's makes no sense, same with Yuika and Rinka. Their archetypes are the flirty girl, the perverted girl, and the perverted masochist girl, them liking the coach clashes with their role as comic relief.

Yeah, I think Mitsu's feelings for the Coach are supposed to be viewed a bit more genuine than the others, excluding Mai and Reika. The author draws her thinking about him more often than the others and she's had more solo time with him than any of the others.

Too bad that that just makes her a distant third place to an also distant second place Reika. She's my favorite so it's going to be extra bitter when he chooses Mai in the end.

To be honest, except for Rinka, they suck as comic relief. Mai, Kiiro, Chidori, Mitsu, and Youko all have funnier gimmicks and are cute and likable to boot.

Saki, Yuika, and the twins are just kind of there, they're boring and the author doesn't flesh them out or make them interesting.
