What you guys think about the suddenly change of love Naruto

The "love" he had for her never came off as the real thing, even in the manga. Kishimoto didn't flesh it out well. Plus Naruto always knew her heart belonged to Sasuke since like part 1 when he see's her hugging Sasuke in the hospital.

I never took his feelings for her seriously because Kishimoto never did himself.

I get you OP. No matter what The Last says, Naruto did love her. That sad smile he pulled at the hospital, the fight against Gaara, the promise of a lifetime, etc. Sakura was no Sasuke, but he did love her in his own way and it could have gotten somewhere if Sakura wasn't such a shitty character.

As it is though, Naruto my boy dodged a bullet. His thing with Hinata could have been developed better, but at least it's her and not Sakura.

I will always prefer Ino though, even if it's just crack. It could have been awesome.

NaruSaku as a couple is awful but at least they had a semblance of friendship and could work together as a team. While I agree that dismissing Naruto's feelings as a mere competition was not good writing, there is no solid evidence in the manga that they were anything beyond a simple crush.

If Kishi really wanted to emphasize Naruto's romantic interest in her,the perfect opportunity would have been a brief exchange (or even one of those obnoxious flashbacks that Kishi is so fond of) about the topic on either of his fights with Sasuke.

The real problem here is that most battle shonen authors have to make a balance act between actually progressing relationships and not showing too much, since many members of the core audience perceive romance as icky, or something they think doesn't belong in battle shonen.

Having said all that, Rurouni kenshin, Buso Renkin and Ichigo 100% are all SJ series, and they all dealt with romance well enough.

There was only a brief window in time where it would have been decent and that was at the very beginning of the timeskip and before they reunited with Sasuke. After that point Sakura became irrelevant and only rode on Team 7 nostalgia coattails.

I can see why Sakura fans would want it to happen since in their heads Sakura is the "Queen" and they want Naruto to worship her while she acts indifferent. At least that's how 80% of fanarts depict it.

I can't imagine why anyone else would want it to happen seeing as Sakura was never waifu material and most people seemed to hate her outside all those ooc doujins that never got her body type right.

Sakura's intentions were honorable, but the method is what makes her look bad. Her intentions were to downplay Sasuke so Naruto didn't feel as pressured to keep chasing after him. She also knew how strongly Naruto cared about Sasuke and decided she would try to kill him instead of Naruto having to suffer through it.

The problem was Naruto wasn't saving Sasuke for her so her saying all that wouldn't have changed his mind anyways. The second problem is she didn't have the resolve nor power to kill Sasuke.

The strange thing is that 'The Last' was actually a good movie. It was very, very Dicknesian.

There's a kind of charm in seeing Naruto all grown-up and living happily ever after.

The one problem with the movie is the agonizingly long flashback in the middle, with poor-quality footage from the TV series. The rest is actually not bad.

It's not Shakespeare, but watching Naruto fight a fucking ninja wizard on the moon was pretty entertaining and I liked his redesign.
