You're retarded. Haruhi is not that popular anymore but it probably still makes more money off of royalties than KyoAni could do even in its best year. They just don't have the money to buy such a big franchise like that and I doubt Kadokawa would let it go either. I mean the fact that no one has bought it and Kadokawa doesn't seem interested in doing anything more than pachinko and more blu-ray boxes pretty much proves my point. It would not be profitable to make new content and it would be too risky for anyone else to buy it off their hands.

And that new building was probably built off a loan, KyoAni is not that rich, not too long ago their financial data still showed their equity ratio being 40%.
