Honestly I doubt it, it might be a passion project like cross ange, one of CG's producers or directors said he's been wanting to do compilation movies/a remake for a while now.

Also Sunrise has Gundam and Love Live for their money, Code Geass is big, but I doubt it puts a dent anywhere next to those two.
