So I think it's time to out myself for a bit here guys.

I know 4chan is big on anonymity and stuff, but hopefully you guys won't mind this time. I'm Translator-Kun, and I've been lurking here for about 2 days when someone linked the 4chan threads to me personally in discord. I was so hyped that there was actually LN discussion going on that I had to check it out!

I know people say that I'll burn out, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. And that's not just me saying stuff either. I've been a fan of MahoIku for 4 years now and I'm really happy that I got to give it a chance to western audiences.

I've been working on wanting to translate MGRP for a long time. 6 months actually. 6 months of daily work, and it hasn't burnt me out yet, and it won't burn me out now.

Pic related is the manga for Arc 1, which I've translated partway through in the summer of 2015 while I was bored on vacation. I'll release that once I get a better cleaner/typesetter, because I want to focus on the main Arcs first beforehand.

I just wanna say you guys make my day everyday! I wish I found the threads sooner. I love seeing reactions and talking to LN readers, it's been a dream come true since I've been lone wolfing it (in the western fandom) since 2012. Seeing the thread so comfy is also SUPER GREAT!

The memes are great too, you guys are in synch with the Japanese fandom on a lot of things actually!

The only reason my translations have been a bit slow lately is just Finals Week. Not me burning out, don't worry.

Dreamland is going to be a big project for sure, and even after that, I plan to make sprite videos, fanmade stuff, and, if you're all interested, a fandubbed sprite-anmation audioplay of the Arcs. Even if Lerche doesn't give us Season 2+, I'll still find a way to have you all be able to "watch" it. Might not be as good as an Anime, but it's the least I could do!

And once all that happens, there might be a new book of MGRP! So don't worry, I'm not going away anytime soon :)

I think it's a good example of what defines MGRP.

The one big difference in MGRP is that while it's a dark MG series, it is, in a sense, optimistic.

You've got characters like Snow White, Pechika, Lazuline, Wedin, Prism Cherry, Sorami, who all believe in the goodness of people's hearts.

MGRP is harsh and real, but there's characters like that that continue following what they believe, and that's what I think separates MGRP from most other darker MG series.

It's dark, but the message isn't cynical.

Before the Anime aired, every fanart of Snow White that I've seen has been Punished Snow. They really like her development.

Restart: Pechika has a lot of love, Lazuline and Bellsie too (Lazbelline/Razuberinu is the ship name). Shadow Gale and Pfle are up there in Restart as well. Team Pythie is always drawn eating in a restaurant. Of course, Pythie herself is always drawn either fangirling at hair, messing with SW/Ripple, or being cute with Tot Pop.

JOKERS: Marika Marika Marika. Marika and Mimi are huge in the fandom in Japan. Almost everyone loves them. Cherry is loved too, but a lot of people always draw Shufflin as a huge family. I've seen some fanart of Filuru floating around, but I really wish we had more fanart of JOKERS. Japan is kinda salty at Umbrain's death and so have lots of fanart of her. They want her to have a side story.

ACES: The Three Sisters dominate the fanart section. Sorami in particular, followed by Uluru, and then Sachiko. Or three of them together too. Mi-Chan is also there, and is personally a favorite of mine too, since I'm going to be localizing her power. Deluge and Blue Bell Candy are often drawn together.

Why couldn't Funny Trick have used her ability to swap the grenade with Pukin's brain? It fits the criteria of her power, since it's "Hidden" from everyone. The eye was clever, but the fact that she can remove people's body parts just raises more questions. It was a life and death thing, and they were both trying to kill each other. And she supposedly has to know where the object is, without estimations. Does not knowing just make the magic not work, or does it raise the potential of a telefrag, which would also have killed Pukin?
