I guess what makes him annoying to me is he's a bit too perfect and the manga contrives itself to make things go his way. I mean, from the start, it resolves the initial "did they have drunk sex" setup by creating a silly scenario where everything was essentially her fault and he did nothing wrong. And they start dating because she just goes along with some dumb promise she made while she was drunk as fuck. There's nothing much I can see to like about him.
