How strong is Broly anyway? I feel that he is actually much stronger than he is depicted in the movies, due to multiple official licensed material depicting him fighting opponents like Gogeta almost on-par, so the only reason Broly was beaten was because of plot power bullshit.

Cell was the only major villain who had the potential to become good. He was never evil to begin with, he just did what he was made for and what felt natural to him. The most evil thing Cell has done is torture Gohan mentally and physically, and that wasn't for sadistic purposes, it was to trigger Gohan to unleash his power, which Cell was curious of due to Goku's comments about Gohan. While I've loved Super so far, is anyone else getting tired of the status quo staying the same? During all of DB and DBZ things are constantly changing. Time passes very quickly while not in an arc too. But Super has barely changed since RoF, in fact you could pretty much skip U6 saga and understand almost everything in Zamasu saga, which while good, left virtually no repercusions in the main timeline.

This was definitely not the case before.

After watching the Future Trunks arc at the same time as rewatching the original DBZ anime, I actually can't go on. The animation is legit terrible. Are the early arcs of Super worth reading the manga for?

How about the movies? Surely they can't be as bad as Super, even with the new art style?
