Unless there's some other component--battle shonen or romcom--just ignore harems altogether. They either go on for years with nothing happening only for the characters you like to be ignored for a foregone conclusion, destroy any of the tension or wonder they built up by finally going harem route, or they get canceled.

I've read my share of harems and ecchi shit but this one actually got to me precisely because all the characters including MC seem to be mostly okay with their relationships and yet nothing happens because of forced bullshit like you said.

What kills me about this and why I hate harem's in general is that more than any other genre, the author cannot let the story progress along the natural route or else they will lose whatever drama they recycle to keep people coming back.

Most recent chapter finally had Sato man up and even gave them everyone's blessings and then Hime fucks it up.

Harems where sex actually happens don't sell, the best you get is stuff like High School DxD, KissXSis, that DxD rip off with the scarred up dude, World End Harem and Tu=Love-Ru Just super suggestive actions and dialogue with maybe a little bit of fingering, hand play, mouth play and dry humping if you're lucky.

I still wonder how Daily lives with monster girls still sell, it hasn't really been very sexual for a good while now, if anything it's about the hijinks of a bunch of monster girls integrating with Japanese society more than it is about competing for a husband.
