Sawano and the retarded alien mech abilities made this show watchable, at least. Inaho was such a bad protagonist that I couldn't take him seriously.

Use of music was really good. Basic plot was good. Character designs were good. That's about it. First season ending was good, but the series ending made a shitty show 10x shittier.

To be fair, none of the Vers-affiliated characters made a modicum of sense except for Asseylum.

Thinking about this show still makes me mad.
