Shinji wakes up in the hospital after the Zeruel fight, finding that everything in 3.0 was just a dream. The rest of the movie is based on the previews from 2.0, until near the end, where Shinji wakes up on the shore of the sea of LCL, where it's revealed that all of Rebuild is Shinji's dreams after the original series' Third Impact.
that's pretty solid if I get a little hint on what happens after original third impact
I could die a happy man then
I want the Gintama cast and crew to make a full 26ep+movie hommage to Eva once the Rebuilds are over with. If the Master ever goes out giving away licences, I can really see this kind of thing taking place.
I'm just here for the inevitable shitstorm
He'd wake up on the shore of the sea laying side by side with Asuka,
holding hands. They'd look at each other, Shinji would say "I'm sorry", and then they'd both start crying--cut to credits.
Post credit sequence would be >>150819759 before a cut to black with no explanation for how it happened.
It's not a dream, Shinji recreated the world.
For some reason he chose Kaworu to be the only one who remembers and he erased Asuka from existence and replaced her with some other bitch that looks like her.
EoE was something Anno primarily made for himself. They need a normalfag, dekinked version of Eva they could put on coffee cups and deodorants once the genie was finally out of the bottle.
are you a genius or a retard?
I think the manga also ties into this as being a parallel world, that then draws into the rebuilds in the same line. Kind of like the holy trilogy.
Manga= Shinji focusing on his exterior rather then interior, leading to the rejection of Kaworu (who I think symbolises Shinji himself and what he is "supposed to be").
anime= interior leading to the opposite.
There are slight changes, like the different scenes and focuses in EoE. Shinji thinks about the past in manga, while Shinji thinks about the consequences of his nonexistence in EoE. They also conclude differently, in the manga the internal problems are not actually resolved, even if he goes on to live a seemingly happy and normal life. In the anime it's the opposite, we get a symbolic and chaotic ending (representing ones own conciseness) as he strangles a part of himself as she calls him at for being an idiot.
Like the magi system Shinji, Rei and Asuka is the holy trilogy of what makes Shinji himself. The religious aspect makes sense as it represents man's need for a purpose and their relationships with themselves (Jesus) and the world (God).
Manga is the farther, anime is the son and the rebuilds are the Holy Spirit.
It won't suck but /a/ will say it sucks not only to be contrarian but also because the movie needs to wait at least 20 years before people can understand its greatness. The same happened with 3.0
It depends what you mean by sucks.
But I'm confident it will be atleast on EoE level.
Did you even watched the rebuilds ?
Every morning, not recent days, but I see my friend who has a disability. It's hard for him to just to a high-five, his body becomes stiff with anxiety just reaching out to my hand. Now, thinking of him, I can't watch this Evangelion stuff and find it interesting. Whoever creates this stuff has no idea what pain is whatsoever. I am utterly disgusted. If you really want to make things that make me feel sick, you can go ahead and do it. I would never incorporate this perversion into my work at all. I strongly feel that this Evangelion stuff is an affront to humanity itself. So, what is your goal?
Then I must infortunately inform you that you have a serious eye deficiency, don't know yet how to read, overslept through both of them, or simply didn't give a fuck bout what was going on in the rebuild.
How dare you assume anything about my waifu !
Seriously though, in her introduction scene, they tell her name right away.
So where's the real one? The one that doesn't put up a yamato cooking show and has a more interesting way of kissing? Is she stuck inside an eva or simply in script writer limbo?
Stuck inside script writer limbo, unfortunately.
>Why the fuck is Evangelion still a thing?
Anno is a talentless hack and Evangelion is the only thing people know him for so he keeps beating the dead horse and otakus and f/a/ggots eat it up despite it not even having as much thought and originality as the original series.
Nadia was great, though, and the only terrible episodes where those he wasn't involved with.
3.0 would've been a lot less shit had it just been a secret Nadia remake focusing on WILLE, honestly.
