So I've been wanting to get the Aquamarine Gumi figurine for a while now. For those who don't know, there's two version of it. The 2014 version (left) and the updated 2015 1.1 version (right), which has improved eyes and overall better colours.

I've found a pre-owned 2014 version, but I'm more interested in the 2015 version since it looks better, but I haven't seen a trace of a pre-owned one for a few months.

What's your advice, /a/? Get the (actually reasonably priced) 2014 version or wait and hope that the 2015 version shows up sooner or later?

How do you usually approach purchasing pre-owned figures, or figures with multiple versions/updates?

Does anyone have either or even both of these? What's your opinion?

I just ordered the 2014 version. Based on what pictures I could find it looked fine, maybe even better than the 2015 version.

The only thing they updated were the eyes, and I think I prefer the way the 2014 version's eyes looked. The 2015 version's white spots/reflection don't seem to look very good when you look at Based anon's >>150725526

Get a glass bowl that has a waterproof plastic/rubber seal. Put Miku on the seal and surround her with rice that it covers her base, coloured rice if you can get it. Place the glass bowl on the cover with Miku and rice and ensure it's sealed properly. If possible, use a sealant to surround the base. Also don't forget to wiegh down the bowl with some rocks or something. uncooked rice can keep moisture at bay.
