Honestly what's really going to drag on is Hayato trying to convince Josuke not to touch Okuyasu, Josuke being buttmad about Okuyasu not waking up, Josuke and Hayato running through the house while Kira does math and Reimi confronting Kira. Every other event has absolutely no reason to get padded with filler, this series could have actually finished in 38 episodes instead of 39.

Hell it may just be 10 time filling minutes of everyone screaming at the top of their lungs to stop the next Bites initiation while Kira is also screaming trying to activate Bites.

Absolutely, part 4's been killer with their character themes so far too. Every unique minor villain theme has been surprisingly great (Ratt, Superfly, Enigma, RPS Kid) and the character themes themselves are top-tier, much better than the ones we've had for parts 1-3.

Seriously, when the piano piece from Courage started playing during SHA 1 when Act 3's starting his 3-Freeze it was absolutely amazing. Yugo Kanno really stepped up his game from part 3 into part 4.

Jesus Christ I really can't wait to see how they do Okuyasu's "Dream" sequence, I hope it's like what they did with the flashback on Rohan 2: that brilliant sad track, superb voice acting and maybe add an additional scene where Okuyasu cycles through some memories of the time he's spent in Morioh before deciding to go back. Knowing DP they'll blow it out of the park.

You speak the truth. Sure, I personally find a lot of flaws, but I admire their work. They tried to do a lot of different things with this adaptation, despite being a long series with a limited budget or whatever they managed to make it feel very fresh. I applaud them. I think the best part is that they'll hopefully learn from all the mistakes they made in part 4 and take into account all the good they've done too so part 5's adaptation can be even better. That's the benefit of them being a previously-no-name studio. They fixed the pacing issues SDC had and learnt fully how to allocate budget correctly as well as took some creative liberties that actually improved over the source material, got no doubts here that they'll do part 5 justice and hopefully even manage to turn around the Nips view on part 6.

God bless DP, seeing my 2nd favorite fight in the series being done justice like this really makes it a good year to be a jojo fan.
