And since somebody wanted to know about what they talked about on the Abema special, I'll be writing that in chunks as I watch:

After introductions they go into the first corner where they talk about things that happened behind the scenes/during recording.

First they talk about JJ's song and said that the recording that day was a pain in the ass (both Toyonaga and Ucchi wrote about this) . They talk about how all the cast members were forced to sing along to the chorus to JJ's dumb song and how it came out of the blue and they were basically told, "OK, we're in the middle of a break now, but now you all have to sing this JJ song." They had no idea what was coming and were struggling to suddenly remember this English song with no notice but said it surprisingly came together somehow. Mamo was extra annoying because apparently he got really into this song and started singing the tune with random lyrics he would switch out. Kubo said she was surprised to see all the comments about JJ saying, "This isn't even acting, this is just Mamo in his natural state..." and said she kind of felt like the character was stolen away from her and belonged to Mamo now.

On the next topic they overlapped again (Suwabe and Ucchi both wrote the same thing) writing that the recording time was insanely long. Ucchi said it took like 1.5-2 times as long as it would to record something else. They said it's hard to say that there's really a standard for judging like an average it takes to record something but said at worst it got up to 6 or 7 hours. The reason that it took so long is because they were being really focused on getting the little things right. When asked if there were any particular scenes that took a long time to record, they said that it was just in general/everything. They said that they didn't have time to go out drinking after recording or anything, even though they wanted to. Suwabe said that since it's an original production that's not based on anything, that contributes to why it took so long since they have to really think about the nuances of the characters and how they'd say things.

Kubo says that right after the 7th episode aired she had a crazy jump in foreign followers and suddenly the responses to her tweets were buried by tweets all saying, "WAIT WAS THAT A KISS OR A HUG?!" Medo-chan sent her a direct DM asking the same thing and she answered her in private/the answer is just for them. She says that the creators weren't trying to push any one view on you and encourages the viewer to be courageous and decide for themselves. Apparently part of this scene was also played on Music Station? and Kubo says she was really grateful for it/it's fine because it's a great scene.

4th scene: ending scene from ep. 4

Uchiyama says he really likes how this whole scene flows into the ending with the music. Kubo says that she really wanted to write something that would show the strength of Yurio's resolve as an athlete where he's willing to do anything to win, and thought Uchiyama was spot on. Toyonaga says it seems really accurate to how a figure skater might thing, and Kubo says that 15 is pretty much in the middle of a growth period, so once your height changes, the way you can do jumps changes completely, and a lot of the times especially for female figure skaters, that's where they tend to peak and then go downhill from there. At the same time, though, there are plenty of skaters who are successful into their late 20s, and she wanted to represent some of these different possibilities in the main 3 characters.
