I'm fine with that. If it's a choice between having to get used to a bunch of new characters or having to bear with Arturia, Emiya, Gilgamesh, etc., appearing again and again in spin-offs just for the sake of pandering to people who can't get enough of these guys, then I'd easily pick to never see them ever again. But they keep showing up in spin-offs and even when they're not there there's always some character who won't shut up about them even though they're nowhere to be seen.
