It is never shown that Victor bought a ring.
Victor and Yuuri are wearing the exact same ring model. This means that Victor would have to buy a ring exactly identical to the one Yuuri bought while he wasn't looking. I kind of agree to be honest. From a layman's, audience perspective, there's not much of a difference visually between a triple and quad. I know intellectually how difficult quads are, but they don't make me enjoy watching it more. I think jumps in general make the programs more tense and break up the flow, so I don't really enjoy them as much as the rest. Yuzuru integrates his jumps perfectly with finely crafted footwork and very little preparation and even Orser commented how Yuzuru is completely attune to the music and will go for musical scores that fit his jumps.
