Part of what made me devise the 'creature' category is the fact that those characters do not really care about anything other than fighting.

Characters like Iron Michael or Igari Kanji have a lot of things going on in their lives, despite being fighters. There are many things in which they would also find interest.

Characters like Doppo, Oliva, or Katsumi have much fewer things going on in their lives. They live to fight, but they do have major distractions. Oliva has Maria, Doppo has Natsue, Katsumi has the school. They party, they play around/have fun, they get plastered, they have some semblances of *lives*. Even in a serious situation, like Che vs Oliva, both were satisfied with just doing that dumbass party trick to determine the winner of the fight rather than brawling or truly fighting; until Baki made them take it more seriously.

Baki, Yuujiro, Pickle, Kaku and so forth have no ties to any real things in life beyond fighting. They don't have real romances (Kozue barely exists), they don't fuck around in fights; they don't have any real recreation beyond training for their next battles. That's why I set Oliva apart from them. He's not like that.
