No, you double nigger. It's because marriage has nothing to offer to men. It's all risks and no rewards. Germany has the same problem to a much greater extent than Japan, and Germany is one of the most pussy nations out there when it comes to feminism and censorship (look up German Naruto, Zabuza's fucking sword got censored out of the anime).

Anime girls aren't the cause of the problem, they're an outlet: a much safer alternative to the now unviable reality. If you want men to marry, make sure marriage benefits them. But nobody wants to do that because proposing anything like that as a democratic politician means you automatically lose the female vote (and with it the election).
