Hell no. If I didn't want to see fanservice, I wouldn't be watching anime.

Sometimes, but it really depends. Bath scenes almost always make me roll my eyes, as do hot spring episodes and girls getting walked in on changing (and then hitting or yelling at the man for not knowing).

If it's non-sexual fanservice, then cool. All for it. Fan disservice as well, ala in Attack on Titan, you get to see nipples and a dick...but the nipples are on an old hag titan and the dick is attached to Grisha Jaeger, and it's tiny as fuck.

Fanservice is annoying if it's out of place. But so is anything else that seems out of place, like comedy shows trying to pull off drama.

The purpose of fanservice is to service the fans. It doesn't necessarily have to be sexual in nature, although most people use the term to specifically refer to sexual fanservice. If it's annoying, then it's not fanservice.

If it it's a serious plot and the narrative is disrupted by any kind of "fanservice", then I'd certainly be bothered by it. If it's something like a super robot show, then I expect the whole point is to get the viewer pumped up and feel happy watching it so it would be fine in that case.

It depends on how well it's integrated into a show. For example, I don't mind the manservice in Yuri on Ice nearly as much as I mind Izetta being whored out.

There's nothing wrong with fanservice in anything, if a show doesn't have fanservice that's fine, if it does then it's just a bonus. A show that's completely fanservice is still totally fine, the only reason it's bad is because of the story, not the fanservice.

Fanservice and a story with integrity can definitely coexist, it's just that they usually don't. I don't fault YOI for it's fanservice, hypersexualized male characters are still a bit of a novelty and the writing holds up regardless.

Yuri on Ice's fanservice really drags the show down a notch or two.

I can handle the QUALITY during the skating scenes but there's no excuse for the amount of trashy dialogue like "his skating is so beautiful it could make even a man like me pregnant!" or Christopher's trashy monologues where he says he is literally going to cum from skating. The male nudity in YoI is the least trashy or embarrassing thing considering how downright awful the dialogue is at times.

The amount of fan service in Bakemonogatari left me not wanting to watch the sequels due to how bad it got some times. I really liked the rest of the show aside from the fan service.

It depends on how it's presented. If a show has a serious scene but instead of focusing on the characters all you can see is the main girl's panties than I am against. I think sex scenes are okay if they move the plot forward but things like a random "skinship grope" scene puts me off because women don't act like that and the characters become less real to me.

But sex is a central theme of the series since half the MCs performances are about it. Chris is obviously a foil to Yuuri with his 'mature eros' and even though he's ridiculous, it's a comedic series to begin with. The pregnant line isn't supposed to be taken that seriously either.
