I finished Stage 1 a few weeks ago. Was anyone else disappoint with Ryosuke? He was bigged up as a guy who'd never been defeated in any form of racing and should have been a real threat. But it turned out if he wasn't chasing so he could follow Takumi's racing line for the majority of the race and it was some kind of timetrial thing he would have been trounced. Also rather than having some skilled overtaking, both cars were passed when the other made a mistake rather than through something they'd done. Apparently the other seasons get worse so I might not watch more.
