Main boy quickly develops/reveals new levels of depth post-ep 4, pair hit all the intimacy markers, had their first kiss in episode 7. Generally just a quick pace of character and romantic development without it feeling shallow or unearned. It's pleasant and comfortable viewing low on bad Free!-style melodrama. Not having the big romantic GETs be saved until the finale or inflated beyond their realistic importance is also unlike your average series of this kind.
