So how is the chance of Emperor is actually Gamodad? Unlikely but from the pictures the police had gathered, it seem to me like Gamodad was more than just a "charismatic figure" to the cult.

If I were to put it with time as a stream like the 'river' you said, actual dead people are completely frozen. Time moves on without them. In the end what really concerned me are Kiryuu and Gamotan, why do they possess capabilities unique to themselves? Asuna can only see Gamotan but he's still invisible to everyone else? How? Then if we consider all the psychic medium like Ryo-tas who can see all astral bodies and then the brocon who can't see Kiryuu before she's dead, all of these make Gamotan a really complicated sort of astral body.

Kiryuu is an unusual case because he's a living scandium person. The only two we still have in the show who are like that are him and the white kid. If we assume that he becomes a state like the main cast when he has those experiences, Aria can somewhat detect his presence but can't see him (like how people bump into Gamotan but can't see him).

One thing is to see the past another thing is to change it. Asuna can see the past, Kiryuu and Myu can see the future, but the only things that they can change are those that they can affect in the present time (yes technically they can change the future, but from the present).

I don't know, the whole idea of synchronizing the souls of dead with the time of the living persons was so that they could interact with reality, technically without that they can't interact at all. So a ghost that can interact with the past seems to me a contradiction of the premises of the story.
