I never implied it was a glorious save everyone option that would give us a happily ever after, I only implied that it was preferable to the previous universe because it frees Madoka from her heavy obligation as a god, and allows the original quintet plus Nagisa to exist in reality, as well as punishing Kyubey for his extreme greed. It's only temporary, but it is the lesser of two evils in comparison to the mess that was the Wraith arc.
