Every new character introduced in the Future arc was awful, and pointless since they were obviously going to go back to the past.

Box weapons/animals were an incredibly shitty power up that basically changed the formerly relatively unique fighting style of every character into a bland mess.

Not even, since Edlive was announced Reborn has been getting a lot of merchandise recently.

Future Arc meandered forever, but had some alright moments amidst all the garbage and the finale was actually pretty good.

I read some tidbits on the wiki despite me not liking the series, but it prompted me to watch it. Most of their episodes felt like fillers. I had to search google for 15 minutes trying to figure out how what I was watching was not filler material before pretty much all sources said it was straight from the manga.
I watched 40 episodes and I could not get into this series in the slightest. Was I watching it wrong?

Literally everything from the TYL arc was garbage. I've never dropped a series so hard, especially one that I enjoyed as much as Reborn.

The final battle with Xanxus should have been it, with a few happy chapters afterward. The Varia arc was superb.
