Well DESU Episode 11 is probably going to be Dance with the Devil and Episode 12 will be Ripple vs Swimx2 and the ending so they're gonna have to fill episode ten with something. There was a case in my usa state where an old army veteran (frail due to age) was savagely beaten by two 16 year old rap music lovers. They spent a bit of time on him to hit him all over the face with a metal club. He saw them so they prevented him being a witness by bashing out his eyes and mouth. NO malice intended was part of the court defense. Another was that they didn't understand the severity of what they did. Etcetera. They then tried to justify that there was a public service because that old guy was selling crack cocaine and he was discriminatory. Okay.

Were those defendants cynical about justice and mocking the system with their template excuse / alibis / explanations? Or just autistic and therefore innocent? It seemed to work as they got off with light sentences despite having long prior crime histories of theft, burglary, drug selling, intimidation, mugging, shoplifting, assault, etc. I guess everything is a fluke. It's all okay because they are autists or don't understand why it is wrong. But they must have known something was wrong because why try to silence the witness?
