Well, the pity sex memeing is inspired by actual odd behavior from Ram. I definitely think she's hiding something, but I also think Ram has been underplaying her concern for both Rem and Subaru until things get serious. It took the argument, where they tried to kill one another over Rem, for Subaru to feel more assured that Ram really did care about her.

That "Rem will cry if you die" statement also feels a bit odd to me, but I'm not sure why. I guess it works if she wanted to shock Subaru, because it pisses him off that she acts like she knows what Rem would think. If they fail, it's not like Rem will even be able to express any kind of emotion for anything.

Right now, I'm wondering if the coma girl might have a modicum more awareness than Ram has let on, and if their telepathic bond might be a little stronger than just feeling heartbeats. It's not even supposed to work when they're unconscious, is it? Yet Ram can feel her heartbeat from some distance away, but laments that she can't tell if anyone is with her. It actually strikes me as a little odd that she brings that up, since I'm not sure how familiar she would be with such things without her memories.

It's Rem-like in some ways. The thing is, we knew she was willing to sacrifice herself for Subaru and others since Arc 4 when Garfiel killed her. She was also watching over Subaru after he returned to the manor, after the Whale ate Rem. That's not the thing that seems unusual to me. What seems strange is that she's hiding it, and the way she's hiding it.

In short, she's acting touchy about something, which makes me feel like she's hiding something. Either something she knows or something she feels. So far, it seems like she downplays her concern for both Rem and Subaru until things get serious. I don't think it's pity sex, though.

Apparently some stuff starts to get cut by this point in the WN. The comparison provider says it was nothing important, so i assume it was minor stuff and banter.

We also get some information that would have been learned in future loops, most likely to avoid repetition in the future when they need to cut something short.

And then in chapter 3-4 we get some stuff that wasn't in the WN, like description of the villagers, and some small talk with then. And some " riddles are involved from some old lady", and the baidu commentor saying he couldn't really understand the old lady's talk, but basically it's something like:

Subaru's parents segment is pretty much unchanged, only with small rewording and such.

In the last chapter, some scenes are cut, mostly for continuity reasons, since they're cutting loops, but nothing that changes the story.

Then some minor cuts, then toons of cuts. Emilia cries for Puck just the same, and apparently it clarifies some aspects that were a little confusing, apparently one of then being about Otto.

The LN has Subaru asking Betty other stuff, more info it seems with a long wall of text

After that the Baidu guy makes 4 long blocks of walls of texts for a certain part of the LN, around chapter 5-6, 5-7.

The dude translating isn't sure if it's new content, or if he's just passing what's going on for context, since he doesn't say if it's the same as the WN or not, but there being a wall of text may be an indicator of it having something.

Then the Elsa scenes are the same as the WN.


I guess that's it with what he worked on. Basically the changes are, that they are merging loops, Emilia is slightly more assertive, Echidna gets introduce first before Garfield, but it doesn't really change anything, and we only get to see Echidna so far.

Just remember, he only skimmed through this stuff and it wasn't all word for word, and he's a little tired. So if anyone is interested in digging some more in depth stuff from that Baidu link, it'd be apreactiated.
