I'm conflicted on if it is one, on one hand I'd really love to go back into E7's world, but on the other I don't wanna risk the chance of AO.

I think there's a possibility we could get a good E7 series though, AO's main problem was that they kept changing it's writers/directors.

If this project is E7 and it gets a stable team it shouldn't turn out badly.

But for some reason I think Sunrise could do Geass justice, and this is coming from a person who's been pretty dissatisfied with some of their recent works.

I know I'm sounding too optimistic, but I think they treat this series with a similar reverence to what they give to the UC Gundam line.

Also to me it seems like they've been nurturing Geass as a kind of backup successor to Gundam.
It's already gotten a lot of media form games to merch and other anime so I don't think they're gonna be careless with it.
