I do think Doppio was a good idea but he could've been worked on more. In Metallica for example, the difference in personality and characterization with Doppio and DIavolo was great, specifically when Diavolo had defeated Risotto and he was telling Risotto that he would give him a quick, dignified death if he gave him back his iron, and that his men would've been proud for his progress.
