Jotaro is a tough guy with a resolve stronger than steel, so his stand is Star Platinum, which is arguably the strongest stand in terms of physical combat. Avdol is a wiseman and a mystic, so his stand is Magician's Red, which uses pyromancy to incinerate his opponents. Stands can only be seen by other stand users.
